Just as you felt sad for your clan mates that died, imagine how they are feeling knowing they’ll never see their friends or family again!” He hissed furiously, as his fur prickled and his tail flicked and lashed.

“Trust me, Bird I have heard the stories and I am not saying she isn’t as evil as Upwalkers…but that whole clan can not be the same. That entire clan can not be all entitled malicious rats…I-…I just cannot think that way, I refuse.” The tom spoke as his words went harsh at first but then turned into a much softer tone. Fox looked at the ground, as he had gone quiet.

One of the last remaining children of Rainfall, whom had disappeared within the last moon. He was so mad at his mom for missing his apprentice ceremony, but he also felt guilty for that. He hoped his Mama was safe and having fun, wherever she was... Even if it wasn't with him. As he walked, Galepaw wondered. Did she leave because of him? Did she leave because she was so disappointed to have a son who got apprenticed at 8 moons old? He felt tears flood his eyes, blurring his vision and making his heart race. He couldn't hear anything over the sound of the of his heart, and couldn't see anything through his thick tears.
By the time his eyes cleared, the young toms fate had already been sealed. A few too many steps landed him in a churning river, and Galepaw wailed, doing his best to flail his paws to keep his head above water. He started to bawl, and choke on the water flooding his mouth.
I'm sorry, Mama. I'm sorry, Ripple. I've disappointed you all. He let himself slowly sink under the surface, still crying.

That's what he thought he was. Slipping out of Shadowclans camp undetected and making his rounds around the territory he barely knew. Smokepaw didn't even hear the dogs that were present in the territory due to how far he was. Suddenly a scent entered his nose. GROSS. This scent was gross. The newly made apprentice came to realize that this was probably one of the borders of another clan. Smokepaw huffed as he was about to turn around before hearing cries for help.
Smokepaw looked back at the territory of the clan he didn't know the name of. Then gears started to run. Hell! He'd get praise for saving one of their cats!! Smokepaw could make this stupid clan admit Shadowclan was so much better!!
So with that Smokepaw ran over the border and ran to the wails and cries for help. Soon enough the tabby came to a river before spotting another apprentice drowning. Clearly this cat wasn't a Riverclan cat.
"Don't worry!! I'll save you!! No need to thank me!"
Smokepaw said as he ran along the bank of the rushing river. Finally Smokepaw jumped in.

The apprentice hadn't realized you needed swimming lessons to SWIM. Now they both were in trouble. Smokepaw tried his hardest to get to the tom but before he could the water swept Smokepaw under. Smokepaw fought and fought but couldn't. Smokepaw could see the other apprentice though blurry due to the water they both were under. Smokepaw 'swam' to the apprentice before wrapping his paws around him.
Smokepaw felt... that though under other circumstances.. Maybe him and this apprentice could have been friends. Maybe even more. Though as fate would have it there were other plans for the two.

Was the last thing Smokepaw could think up before he left out his last breath.
