Ice sighed and her muscles finally relaxed. She then looked at Maple with a worried expression.
"Where's your real mom, kit? Cause I thought for a second we were both going to end up in a prey-pile!" She growled nervously as she sheathed and unsheathed her claws at the thought of Spider, then laid down on some tall grass.
"So, the name's Ice, as I said before. Ice the loner, and apparently the savior of Maples! Seriously, this is the second time this moon! Anyways, I help lost travelers and try to bring them back home!" She meowed, a proud look on her face as she explained her calling in life. @TeamRiverRipple

Maple flopped onto the ground. "Mrgh. I'm not a kit, and my mom's dead."

"What is with Maple's and dead mom's!" She thought aloud, remembering the other Maple very quickly.
"That reminds me! I need to give her some more hunting lessons! Maybe I'll also bring some prey for her." She pounced forward excitedly, before opening her mouth and scenting the air.
"Hey, while you're here, maybe we could do some hunting. I can smell the scent of mouse and sparrow right now!" She got into the hunter's crouch very quickly, before realizing a problem.
"Say, do you know how to hunt? If not, I can teach you!" She meowed, offering her tips so she wouldn't get into a situation like that again.
