"Oh. I didn't know that." Nightwind says softly, shocked at the fact that Smokepaw cannot smell, a very important factor to be able to hunt. But... Smokepaw still hunts, either way!

Raypaw listened closely to what Cliffspring was saying. All right, so he would have to find Speckledpaw? Sounded easy enough! He didn't know the cat, but had seen him around the apprentice den a bit. Hmm, it would be hard to search for him if he didn't know his scent too well. He got ready to search as he watched several cats bolt off to hide. The game had begun! Well, at least for the hiders. He hadn't seen Speckledpaw run off yet, so he would allow the gray tom time to hide. After all, if he just followed him, it wouldn't be any fun!

He wondered what some of the hiding spots would be. Windclan was known for being flat and grassy, so it wasn't like there any trees for them to hide in! They would probably go for bushes or holes. Maybe hide next to a rock. He let all these ideas run through his head as he prepared to run. He would complete this game to the best of his abilities! Maybe even show off his tracking skills! Well, hopefully.

Speckledpaw almost panicked, the call of the cat letting them know that the game had begun sent him into a spiral of worry, what if he wouldn't be able to find a rabbit hole? For a few heartbeats he worried, then scolded himself, seriously? He was worrying about a game? What was he a kit? He rolled his eyes, realizing that this game wasn't that important, he walked at a normal pace, scanning the land. When his eyes found a dead bush he went to inspect it, trying to find a rabbit hole, instead, finding a patch of ivy and backing away, leaving it. Now fretting once again that he didn't have enough time, he sped up, searching quickly and precisely. He stumbled, falling onto his face, growling, he looked up, seeing the prize. Ha! Yes, a rabbit hole! And behind a rock. He thought, grinning. Lowering himself enough to the hole, he looked at it, thinking for a moment, what if this wasn't a rabbit hole? He couldn't smell any traces, plus how would he get out? It looked tiny... He started to worry and moved away from it. Sprinting away from that area he ran to a border, or at least he thought it was a border, there was an undergrowth next to a tree. He didn't care about thorns, he just crept through it, crouching under the protection of the undergrowth and behind the tree.
