Ember's Visitor [Private]

Ember brightened. "Sure!" She padded out of the nest, headed out a little, and scented the air. Vole. She located the creature half a second later, hearing a shuffle in the bushes. Crouching down low, Ember stalked forward on somehow silent paws, I mean, considering her condition. The cat leapt with a flash of silver fur and landed a swift bite to the vole's neck. Panting with exhaustion, she clutched the vole in her mouth.

Leaf came back with 2 mice and a bird, to see Ember heavily panting after killing a measly vole. Leaf said: "Nice catch! Maybe, go take a break right now? Mind bringing my catch back while I scout the area?" Asked Leaf laying down the prey.

"Sure," Ember huffed. She dropped the vole for a second to catch her breath, then picked up her and Leaf's catches and went back to the den, dropping the prey then plopping down on the ground, too tired to get back to her nest.

(When are the kits gonna be born, so I can estimate how Leaf will react to Ember's behaviour.)
Leaf walked around the territory, refreshing the scent lines. She found nothing unsual, but grabbed some fresh moss of the trees, and killed a shrew. Returning back to the den, she saw Ember asleep. Laying the moss out to dry, Leaf walked to the stream with some, and drenched it in water, taking a drink, and bringing the wet moss back for Ember to drink. Placing it by Ember's nest, Leaf sat down and ate the shrew.

Ember awoke, feeling different. Leaf wasn't there. She got up drowsily and padded to her nest and lied down again. A few minutes later, she got up again and started to pace.

(Leaf is there, lol. and she has some water, you just gonna ignore that...? Also, maybe she can labor now, then birth tomorrow?)
Leaf saw Ember looking confused and pacing. "I'm here Ember, drink some water, what's up?" Leaf asked concerned

Ember looked up, seeing the look on Leaf's face. Not wanting her to worry, she said, "Yes, I'm fine. Just... tired." She took the wet moss, licking the water off of it. She sat down, panting. Then it happened. She felt a stab of pain and cried out. @~HewoFox~

Leaf rushed over, and nudged her down. "Lay here, I'll be right back with a stick." Said Leaf and rushed out. Comming back a moment later with the stick, she gave it to Ember to hold in her mouth. She also gave her the borage and Raspberry leaves. "Push, and grunt". Instructed Leaf.
