He nodded, listening attentively. Thinking back, Iciclepaw tried to remember where they were.
”Were they.. at Sharpstones.?” he gave a questioning look at Phantomsoul, checking if his answer was right.
There were animals there, and some ate herbs, so it would make sense. And he partially remembered it being in that spot. He’d have to see.

Iciclepaw was right, goldenrod grew at Sharpstones in clumps. The other herbs were farther down the mountain, but that was okay.
"Correct. Goldenrod grows there, under ferns. We should get there before other animals do." Phantomsoul limped off towards the barrier, motioning with half a tail for Iciclepaw to follow. "Infernoblizzard, did you want to come, or was I mistaken?" It would be a good chance for the leader to see how well his son was doing, he had learned a lot since being apprenticed. Phantomsoul liked having the help.

"She is a good leader," Infernoblizzard meowed. "She'll be a good deputy - I can't wait to see what the future holds." He gave Nettlesky a friendly smile. "Icyheart, I, ah, think I should propose a new rule. Guards are not allowed to have kits, but they may have a mate." He gave a chuckle. "No offense, but you don't seem like the father type, in my mind. But what do you think? And Clearpelt - come on over!"

Icyheart’s ears twitched, he didn’t agree to this rule about having no kits, but he would have to deal with it. “I agree with Guards being able to have a mate. But no kits? I don’t exactly agree with that. But it’s your decision.” He nodded his head slightly, smiling softly at him.

Clearpelt walked over to Infernoblizzard."Maybe that is a good idea.Considering the great risk that guards take,there could be a chance that a kit would grow to be father or motherless.",he told Infernoblizzard. Besides,Clearpelt didn't really like kits.

Icyheart nodded, smiling at him. “I always have been ever since I was just a little kit.” He remembered some of his kithood days, thinking of when he recently joined the clan when he was barely even a moon old.
