He could feel butterflies in his stomach. The good kind, at least. He feels like he is going into unknown waters, swimming to the unknown. Would it be good? Would it be bad? He was unsure. But all that mattered is that this she-cat loved him. "..So uh.. Would you like to find a nice sunny spot? We could sunbathe, maybe on a nice warm rock. Or we could go a bit further out and look for fireflies?"

Willowtail's eyes narrowed in thought. Then again rounding to sparkle in the dimness. "You stinker! Those are both such good options!" Wiillowtail pouted, her tail flicking to show she was kidding around. "Hmm.... why not Fireflies? We can always sunbathe but Fireflies only come out one time in the year." Wiillowtail concluded. Deciding to ask a question that had been in the back of her mind, "Do.. do you think we could move out nests next to each other?" Willowtail asked shyly, her mew gentle as she flicked her ears. Trying to shake away the embarssment but unable to completely.

He got a big grin, seeing how shy she was. He wouldn't tease her about it though. Instead he smiled, "I know the best place, you won't regret it! And yeah, we can move nests next to each other! I'd love to." He gave her an affectionate head bump and started to bounce away, his tail held high in the air. "Come on, follow me! This place is beautiful, I promise!"

He brought them to a small grove, fireflies dancing over a pond. Willow trees swayed in the soft breeze of a summer night. The stars and fireflies twinkled softly in the reflection of the water. Nightshadepelt turned and gave a big smile, "My 'Ma really loved this place. She'd take me when I was apprentice, every chance she got."

Willowtail mewed gently, her eyes brimming with grief for a moment. Fadingstar had announced her name, thanking her mother for bringing her as a warrior. But... she wasn't able to see me become a warrior.... She can't even watch her youngest daughter Daisykit get her apprentice name....

Nightshadepelt walked his way over to a good viewing spot, sitting down to just take in nature. He looked over at the she-cat, "Sort of morbid fact, fireflies are poisonous! That's why frogs don't eat 'em." He grinned. He looked back at the fireflies, as the twinkled. The tom spoke, "My 'Ma believed that fireflies were just stars that were visting. How wild is that? Starclan cats visiting us.. I'm sure she's in here somewhere. I'm sure your deceased kin is here too."

Willowtail blinked, "It's ok. My mother was Brightnight, she was very strict to her kits.... but she had the personality of... "Only I can be strict to my kits."" Wiillowtail explained gently. "I'm the oldest... then there my brother Weepingpaw, I was born with one littermate but they padded away... then my brother Weepingpaw who was a single kit.. Then.... my mother died when I was an apprentice, she died giving birth to Daisykit... and her brother Rootkit died alongside my mother. But I like to believe her name had something to do with her watching over me now. If that makes sense." Wiillowtail mewed
