She trotted over and plopped herself nearby. She spotted Silentleap and Lynxowl and honestly kind of prayed there'd be more cats showing up. She didn't know if games like these happened often or what the usual participant rate was, but she'd feel silly if she was the only young cat that showed interest in this game.

Specklekit grinned. She had kind of been hoping to branch out, meet new cats, but it always nice to be paired with someone she was already familiar with. "Um..." she said bashfully, 'D'ya know what we're doing? I wasn't paying any attention..."

"Yess." Silentleap whispered. "We're both together."
He turned and whisked his stubby tail to sign to Lynxyowl to follow him, then somehow tripped over a twig as he walked and stumbled, then sat down like nothing happened. Lynxyowl stared at him.
"A-are you okay? You literally went stumbling through the camp then just sat down like you just got promoted to deputy."
Silentleap closed his eyes then flipped his head in a 'charming' way.
"Toms like me don't get injuries."
"Then explain that twig that got stuck in your paw not even a few sunrises ago that made you sob like a kit."
Silentleap stared at Lynxyowl, his mouth still open in a happy smile.
"Yeah, we don't talk about that. Let's talk about the time when you almost knocked my brain out with the slap you gave me with your tail."
"That was literally 5 minutes ago."
"It still hurts!"
"Not my fault you act like a kit who is negative one moon old."
"N-negative? You're saying I act like I don't exist?"
"What? I'm saying you act like you don't have a brain. This just proves my point."
"It doesn't."

Moorpaw is drawn from her conversation with Specklekit, or rather, the little cat telling her about some "cool thing" she did this morning, when Shadykit piped up again.
She honestly hadn't realized that apprentices would be included as the "big cats" being the suspects. Whatever, she didn't mind. It meant she could extract herself from her conversation with Specklekit.
She went to sit with only other apprentice..... and realized Robinpaw was one of the investigators, not a suspect.
Pouting, she went to sit with the 3 warriors.

Silentleap looked at the apprentice, Moorpaw, and grinned.
"What's up? Looks like you're the only apprentice here."
Lynxyowl slowly turned her head to stare at Silentleap. Was that really a way to start a conversation with a cat looking as if they are done with everything?
"Can you, like, not? She already looks as if she is really, really annoyed."
Silentleap looked down at his tail to take a leaf out of it. "Why so much emphasis on 'really?'"
Lynxyowl exhaled and turned to the apprentice. "Anyways, sorry about him, he can be aggrivating at times. Are you a suspect?"

"I actually do. You've might've seen Hawkkit around before- the brown tabby. He's my brother, but we're nothing alike," she laughed dryly. "There's also Wrenfeather. She sort of raised me, but we... haven't talked in a while. They're both sick right now, actually." She let some discomfort slip onto her face, but quickly went back to normal. "What about you?"

Sick, huh? Specklekit had actually been experiencing periodic violent fits of coughing for the past couple of days. She had promised herself that she would visit the medicine cat den as soon as the event ended. "I don't have any siblings, no. That's why I decided I'd make so many friends that I wouldn't even need siblings! Must be nice, huh?" she asked, referring to Magnoliakit's sibling.
