Ceri lets his gaze follow the other tom's paw. Scrutinizing the stock that Stone had, the rogue wonders if it would be a little bit too ruthless to try and take off with something, if it left this guy with nothing. Glancing back up at Stone, he flicks his tail. "You're too kind," he meows smoothly before ducking nearer to the pile of prey. His mouth had begun to water.

Stone nodded. ' 'Use or take anything you may need,' ' he replies as he laid down, watching the tom.
Ceri didn't need to be told twice. On Stone's go-ahead, he dives for the first dead creature he could grab- Probably some mouse or other rodent, and sinks his teeth deep into its flesh. A terrible growl fills the confines of the den- The rogue would devour this prey he didn't catch himself and guard the food with every bit of strength he could muster. When he is perhaps half-way through, though, his sharp yellow eyes land on the other tom and narrow. "What do I owe you now, Stone?" he questions snidely.

Stone watched Ceri a bit taken aback at the sudden attitude. He quickly got to his paws, suddenly not trusting the tom. ' 'You owe me nothing. I love helping anyone whenever I can,' ' Stone murmurs, keeping his eyes on Ceri.

Clearly this other cat, a former-ThunderClanner (though Ceri didn't know this), never knew anyone who guarded their food so ferociously. But that was how it was in these questionable strips of unclaimed territory. The laws were written by the best thieves and rascals, cats who came out on top- But these changed day to day, and there was never a certainty to what one truly owned. Ceri was right to defend what he had been given. Who was to say Stone wouldn't turn on him in some cruel trick?
Ceri's eyes lock on to the other tom's wary, perhaps even startled gaze and he maintains this contact steadily even as he finishes the piece of prey at his paws. "Well, Stone," the rogue muses as he rises to his feet, the carcass falling over when he accidentally swipes his tail around his paws. "Thanks for the food, but I should be going." There was the slightest hint of a smile at the corner of his lips as if there were some hidden humor in what he was saying. "Don't be too much of a pushover now, alright?"

Realizing that Ceri wasn't going to try anything on him, Stone's fur layed flat down and he relaxed a bit. ' 'Sorry, I thought you were gonna try something on me-,' ' he explains quickly. ' 'Have a safe journey,' ' he mews almost quietly. Stone sat back down near the edge of his den, watching Ceri take his leave.

Moss poked his head into the small den--well it was probably small because he was such a large cat, but that's not important. His stomach rumbled and he rolled his eyes. "Hello~?" Moss whispered in a singy-song voice. "Anyone home~?" He asked to.. the shadows, or to whoever was in there. Moss silently hoped that no cat was in there. Or cats. Hopefully not. Or maybe this was a badger den. His nose scrunched up at the possibility.
vm me to enter my lair. it has infinite movies and wifi! snacks will be given. sometimes..

Moss jumped. There was cat in here! Oh, great. Well, at least they were nice. But, you can't judge a cat by.. looks. Was that the saying? Anyway, Moss couldn't trust them. Yet.
Moss narrowed his eyes. "Uh.. I can hunt for myself, thanks." He muttered and looked around the den. "This your home?" He asked and waited by the entrance, since he had not been given permission to go in.

' 'Yes,' ' Stone answers the tom, while taking a seat in his nest. Stone watched this cat carefully, noticing how tense the tom seemed to be. Of course, he wouldn't push his boundaries or anything. ' 'Feel free to come in,' ' Stone then said, not wanting the tom to feel awkward waiting at the entrance to his den.
