Claws out? Frostpaw hadn't ever trained that way before and he was a bit worried. What if he got seriously hurt? He would fall even more behind. He eyed Rabbitpaw nervously, feeling more on edge than he had ever felt before.

Gingerpaw scurried to follow Dawnstar, excited to see what she had in store.

Damn her short legs! Maplepaw frantically padded after the group of apprentices, her fur standing on end anxiously. It seemed that Dawnstar had already started assigning pairs, and that made her want to put her face into the dirt even more. Just blending into the crowd wasn't going to work that well this time, was it? Nervously, she stood with her peers, who were beginning to pair up.

(Rabbit's like a brother (not actually) to fierce and frogfang, so he's been getting secret training and is stronger than the average cat.)
Rabbitpaw spotted his opponent, and leapt at the smaller cat. He snarled at him for scare, before lunging imediatly to his throat, for a bite. He wouldn't kill, of course, this was his clanmate, but he had to test Frostpaw's reflexes

Berrypaw nodded at Spottedpaw. Her dark amber eyes were full of determination. She shook out her tabby pelt. "Ready," the apprentice meowed in reply. She really wanted to impress Dawnstar with this. It would work, right? Ir wouldn't it? She wasn't sure, because she had never met Spottedpaw before. With a tiny glance at her twisted paw, Berrypaw wondered if Spottedpaw would make the first move.

claws out and fangs bared? looks like the fight would actually be interesting - depending on who she'd be against. the prize sounded good too, and hearing that she'd be fighting rookpaw, her eyes shot right over to look at the lanky molly. watching rookpaw walk towards her intently with wide, unblinking eyes, she felt anger bubble up inside of her once she noticed how awkward the older apprentice looked. she'd feel awkward too if she watched someone burn.

for some reason, she didn't snap out any insults, and instead just kept quiet, only giving a subtle sway of her tail as her claws slid out.

she wasn't good at fighting, (you're weak, the voice of that ugly cat rang in her head), and that was her fault. how had she so easily forgotten her goal she had as a kit? to become stronger? she was here being weak.

buzzardpaws eyes narrowed ever so slightly and the only warning she gave was a step forward, before she leapt at rookpaw with out stretched paws. she was hoping to knock into the taller apprentice, maybe knock her down or at least knock her off balance.

Frostpaw yowled in surprise as Rabbitpaw exploded into action, his jaws latching onto his throat. He scrabbled backward desperately, shoving the other apprentice in the shoulder with his front paw in an attempt to break his hold. He couldn't be beaten this quickly.

claws were already unsheathed, and ready to strike. But she wanted to see if the other cat would attack first, after wait a few second she leapt at the cat while they were busy looking at their paw. It looked twisted from here, but she didn’t know because she’s never met this before. She tried to make it look like she was aiming for the eyes, then twisted her self slightly to try to aim for the front paws, too get the apprentice knocked off balance. Hopefully the way she leapt at the cat had tricked them.

Rabbitpaw had a strong jaw, and the apprentice's actions were just making it worse. When he shoved him backward, Rabbitpaw just wrenched Frostpaw's flesh more, and then pressed forward. As to not kill the apprentice, he did let go though. Blood welled and Rabbitpaw was satisfied. He then attempted 2 painful strikes to Frostpaw's ears

Frostpaw yowled again as he felt blood seeping out. "You're hurting me!" he cried as blows rained down on his ears. Summoning all his strength, he began battering at Rabbitpaw's chest with his forepaws, hoping to dislodge his grip.
