Snowblind gave a friendly mrrow, sitting beside the two with warmth in her heart. It felt good to be invited! So her hesitation was all for nothing. "I'd be foolish to not join where I'm wanted," she replied, gratitude in her meow. She felt for the rock, logging a mental note of where Birchpaw sat it precisely, then "looked" between the two apprentices. "Have you two made anything so far? Explain them to me! I'll need motivation for a masterpiece." Realistically, she had an idea of what to do, but feeling confident getting to create had the apprentices excited, she of course wanted to hear them talk about it.
The sound of his sister's squeals reached Jaggedkit newly open ears. Some how Cardinal had dared to wander to the furthest spot away from mama fire. The exit of the den, to the outside were where fluffy dad snowy always went. Ever since jaggedkit had managed to crawl around he had explored the den, but never quite leaving mama fire's side. Cardinalkit didn't seem to fear that though, since she was like really really far away!
Though he would hate to leave the warm comforts of his nest, whatever cardinal was yapping about caught his interest. He was curious to see what his sis had seen. So he stood up and wobbled his way over to her, a slow and stumbly journey but he made it! But hey, where did cardinalkit go- she left already!? How dare. peering out at the outside, jaggedkit looked around for where his sister had run of too.
"wow is big!!" he squeaked out, taking in vast greatness of the outside. There were so many big cats too! Finally spotting his sister amongst the mix, he ran, tumbled, wobbled and ran again until he had reached her. "wha izit" he asked, looking around confused. He was here now, what was he here for?

"All Shades of Red, and they all remind me of you."
Frostkit wasn't sure if this was very interesting... like at all, being completely honest with the crowd of voices in his head.. but also Frostkit was not going to be left behind by his siblings. He would simply have to make this fun for himself as well! And that usually meant tumbling around and annoying Jaggedkit along enough for them to have a wrestling match! This time it was sure to be Frostkit's win! There was just no doubt about it, no way. So the kitten stood up, still slightly wobbling but determination fueled his bones as he padded out after his siblings. His eyes landed on Jaggedkit and Frostkit grinned.
His little fangs that hang just slightly out of his mouth, sharp, as he charged. Sure, maybe he got in trouble for biting every time but maybe one day all the boring and lame adults would realize just how much fun biting was! And soothing. It made his head quiet for a bit, and that was... nice. Yes, it sure was. Frostkit grinned and leap forward once in range to tumble Jaggedkit into the ground. If the attack landed then Frostkit would attempt to follow up with a bite aimed for his brother's paw.
"Is that a..." Bouncepaw hesitates, trying his best to guess. It was not easy to tell what the heap of dirt was, "Did you try to make a smashed egg?" He guesses. Bouncepaw looks again, squinting. "Oh, a squashed mouse." This time he's fairly confident he has it right.
Bouncepaw sits down next to Daffodilpaw and also attempts to paint his own mud painting. He wasn't sure if he would be good at it, but at least it'll be better than his sister's, he thinks to himself. Bouncepaw paints his sister.
"Is it pretty?" He asks Daffodilpaw.

Daffodilpaw froze for a moment, totally broken out of her moment of elation. She looked at her brother with her jaw dropped open, aghast at his suggestion. "Of course not! It's supposed to be Elkjump!" She wailed. "And this is you, Rabbitfur, Gorseflower, and aunt Snowblind!" She pointed at each structure in turn, some of them had mud sliding down the side as the rocks tipped over. "I-It's hard to do the colors with just mud..." She mumbled, shuffling her paws in defeat.
She looked at Bouncepaw's painting and brightened, erupting into a loud purr. "It is!" She purred. "Good job Bouncepaw!" She stared at the painting a moment, tilting her head to one side. "Wait...is that me?" She asked, pointing to herself with her tail tip. Did her brother...paint her? How cuuuute! She felt so honored that Bouncepaw would paint her! And do it so well! She immediately bounced forward, splashing some mud on her brother and her. "Thank you brother!" She purred, rubbing her muzzle on his.

"It's all thanks to my rock painting skills." Bouncepaw meows with satisfaction, pawing the mud off of himself. Seriously, Daffodilpaw could be so careless at times. "Well, the model wasn't bad either." His nose is bright pink.
Bouncepaw glances over at Daffodilpaw's attempt at creating sculptures. Honestly, it wasn't that she was bad at them- he was just bad at recognizing cats. Even with his own painting, he wasn't sure if it was done as well as Daffodilpaw claimed it was. Bouncepaw tilts his head, trying very hard to see any sort of resemblence.
"They're well-made," He lies to Daffodilpaw, twitching his whiskers. "I just saw the wrong rock, that's all. Thanks for making me too."

Even though his sister hadn't verbally answered his question, he found his answer by using his newfound power of sight. It was a tool he was growing used to using, there was a lot to look at but at the same time he learnt more than he did when he could see. From what his eyes were telling him, these cats intended to play with rocks. What was it with cats and rocks? He'd already had encounter with one of his denmates- who seemed to be so intrigued by shiny ones, now it seems some of his other fuzzbrain clanmates were interested in changing that color of rocks.
Weirdos.
What could possibly be so fun about this? Looking back up to Cardinalkit, who seemed to be excited about this-- event.. "what's so coowl bout-" he had begun to say but cut himself off as the formerly distant sound of pawsteps were suddenly right behind him. He managed to whip his head around in time to see frostkit leaping towards him. He let out a surprised yelp on impact, the force of this attackers leap causing them both to tumble backwards. As expected frostkit snapped at his paw in attempt to bite it, Jaggedkit managed to pull his paw away just in time to avoid the bite and instead brought it down on frostkits head in series of not well calculated blows.

Cardinalpaw bounced up, grinning. He did that an awful lot. It was fine though. They looked good when they smiled. At least he thought so. He sat down, glancing around

Unfortunately, Seedie's snoozing had been interrupted. She was being gently bonked awake, and after a few more bumps, her blue eyes blearily blinked open. Curious gaze shifted to look at her sister, large and wide, quietly asking her what she was waking her for… “Paintin’ wocks?”
Such an interesting idea. One that she had never even thought about in her entire -1 moon of living. Her sleepy gaze soon lit up with a newfound determination, as if a light bulb had suddenly appeared above her head. Scrabbling up and onto her four paws, she nodded her head vigorously. “Yeah! Yeahyeahyeah, let's go!”
Clumsy kitten legs led her outside, bumbling on out after her brother, Frostkit, albeit a lot less aggressively. I wan'a big wock. Paint paws for poppa. She waddled past her brothers as they tousled, casting them a concerned frown as she passed them. “I wan' the bigges’ wock, St-awberry.. Help me fin’ it, pwease.”
Well, where was Cardinalkit? She had kind of heard her yelling earlier, but she was sleeping! Before she stole Strawberry away to find the biggest rock around, she searched for her other sister as well, and when she found her– “Car-nl! HELP! Lookin’ for a big wock!”
The first one out behind her - in other words, the one in second place, very important distinction - was Jaggs, and he was instantly asking stupid questions. Duh, she had just said what they were doing. Like, if he wasn't going to be paying attention, that sounded like a him problem. Cardinalkit? She was too busy trying to get the attention of the big cat that was hosting this event, but that one also had dung for brains because he hadn't seen her very insistent wobbling. Not her fault, obviously. She was just a kit, it was up to the big cats to keep an eye on her, not the other way around, hmph!
It didn't take long for the young kit's attention to be diverted, however. Forgotten was the big cat in favor of her littermates. Namely Frostkit, who had just tumbled straight into Jaggs as he was about to ask another pointless question. Obviously rocks weren't cool. Why'd he think he and Frost were named after 'em? Because they were both lame, hello. But this kind of lame thing was the kind of thing that Seeds might like, and if their sister liked it, then Jaggs better comply and play nice. They put up with him and Frost's continuous bouts for superiority - a pointless endeavor, everyone knew she was the top cat in their nest - just fine because they were family and they lov- erm... tolerated them. So they better be putting off with this lame stuff too, or she'd feed rocks to 'im and really make him jagged.
"Big wock?" Cardinalkit called back, small kit ears perking up as she heard Seedkit's pleas to help find the biggest rock possible, her gaze still on her brothers as a small, feral smirk - or as feral a smirk as a newborn kit could manage - lighting up her maw, twitching her whiskers. "Jaggs' no good 'en. He tiny."
"It's all thanks to my rock painting skills." Bouncepaw meows with satisfaction, pawing the mud off of himself. Seriously, Daffodilpaw could be so careless at times. "Well, the model wasn't bad either." His nose is bright pink.

"What next? Wanna work on something together?" She asked excitedly.

"Sure, what are we making?" Bouncepaw meows, gathering some extra mud from the ground, and searching for suitable stones. "Maybe something simpler?" His meow has a challenging and teasing tone to it, "Wouldn't want to make another squashed squirrel."
