She laughed at Mantiskit. Even though she wished she remembered her siblings. "I don't have any siblings, but I have heard that they can be VERY annoying!" She stepped in line with the kit. "I don't understand why I have to go. I mean, I HAVE to go, but I don't feel sick." She had heard many stories of this mystery disease that had spread through the camp. "I hope they can fix you" she added quietly. "And I hope you don't feel too lonely with your family gone."

The Sunkissed Creek camp wasn't the most appealing thing to Wolfhive, but if it mean continuing to evade the medicine cat den.. he'd take it. Violetfreckle had failed to drag him in it during her little threat session and he'd been doing busy work in between gaps of rest. Sometimes he'd have little bursts of energy, but whenever he tapped into it he often regretted the decision.

Wolfhive headed out with the crowd, tail twitching. If cats messed around the quarantine camp he might eat them - he wasn't in the mood for their nonsense!

Ok so..... In all honesty most of that meeting had gone in one ear and our the other as Mudhound spaced, avoiding looking at Sprucejumper who totally had their number. They werent sick just.... foggy yeah that was it. They were just tired from overwork and thats why they were light headed, achy, sleepy and kinda floppy, too cold/hot, and unable to breath with their clogged nose. Yeaaaaaaaaah they were FINE.


Idiots dont get sick, the idea of the sick camp sounded horrible, and Mudhound has work to do still! Wait sick camp?


Head perking up at the last announcement the tripods golden eyes went wide as Bumble-sis called all sick cats to the location and quickly turned their gaze to their former apprentice who they were certain would be dragging them there pronto.


....... NOPE! With the last burst of energy the tripod had in their bedraggled body Mudhound was on their paws and out of camp in a flash..... Heading in the wrong direction of the sick camp. It was an escape attempt, pure and simple, and it was time for herding to be done to make sure this idiot didnt collapse in the middle of the territory once the short lived energy ran out.


Though..... Sprucejumper might need some help from another former apprentice of the hornet.

Recently Cypresspaw definitely hadn’t been feeling up to spirits, his legs were shaky and snot had crusted around his nose. He’d drunk and drunk, but his throat felt dry and raw from all the coughing. Multiple times fear had overwhelmed him, when he kept getting flashbacks of his dead brother falling ill. He never really considered his own situation as life threatening before it actually happened. He inwardly cringed as he watched older, much stronger warriors bodies racked with coughing, and felt vomit rising up his throat. He didn’t think that it was because of the sickness either. This was just vile. But for the sake of the clan he had to go. His fur was messy in clumps, and he stood in a skittish way as if he was corned by something that wanted to eat him. His wide eyes were dull but wild, and it was all he could do at this point to not start screaming and crying. He was earnestly convinced he was going mad. “L-let. M-me com-“ he stuttered before another bout of cough consumed him. Let me die now Starclan, please. I can’t take this! He’d have to pull through, if he wanted to make the assumed ‘easy’ journey at all.

"Frog in your throat, Cypress?" Goldenpaw doesn't sound much better, himself, but there he is, standing wearily near the other haggard apprentice with his best shot at a winning smile. It's more of a dry baring of teeth, really. They try for a quick nudge of his shoulder. "Get it all out'n let's start movin', yeah? The sickies're gonna need some cool folks around jus' to keep 'em company. That's you 'n me, got it?" Never mind that they need to go because they're both also sick as dogs.

Goldenpaw leans away just to try and clear her own throat without hacking right into Cypresspaw's ear, and then, "I hope the new digs at th'creek are cozy. We might as well get pampered if we gotta we feel this lousy."
