At Smokefang´s order to split up, the dusky-brown-and-white she-cat headed to her part of the border and brushed her cheek against multiple plants.

The tom watched as his patrolmates scattered around to check more efficiently... Well, at least they were splitting up and not remaining like a big pack of cats like sometimes...

Ugh... He could catch a headache if he thought too much right now... And he was tired a little so it didn't help.

Anyway... He took his side, and started checking his part... No new smells here, no traces of crossing there... A squirrel left a stinky present there...

Other than that, everything seemed fine... And since his patrolmates didn't report anything too... Nice, because he wasn't that enclined to try to figure why did their neightbors decided to cross the border.

He just had to mark the places where it was supposed to be marked, and seven minutes later, that was done, two trees, and three random plants at strategic points... Or where the old smell could be found.

"Everyone finished their tasks? Nothing to report"

Asked the tom, raising his voice a little as he glanced at his patrolmates, if he could see them. Better make sure, if he finished but the other didn't, then he did it too fast... And could mark better...

After marking his portion of the border, Sparrowpelt would circle back, meeting the patrol back up where they split up. A small yawn escaped him before he'd wave his tail in greeting as they started to show up. "Nothin' ta report," the large warrior confirmed, sitting down and waiting for the patrol to start heading back.
