Managing recently dried herbs and adding them to her stores of previously prepared ones, Lightningstorm's ears perked up at the overly loud call from a voice she recognized as a WindClan apprentice's. Calling both her and... Rabbitpaw? Nose wrinkling as she grew alert, the medicine cat rushed towards the den's entrance, only to find herself very confused. Before her stood a chocolate point apprentice she swiftly recalled as Willowpaw, but considering the volume of her voice her general look was... healthy. There was no scent of illness coming from her. No injury clear at first glance. Perhaps whatever ailed her was more than skin deep? And yet... where were the telling signs hinting at... well... Anything?
"You seem to be fit as a badger in greenleaf, love. What brings you to my neck of the moors?" she purred light heartedly, almond shaped eyes still assessing the molly's every movement instinctually.

Willowpaw flicked her ear at Lightningstorm’s quiet sounding voice.
“Hey Lightningstorm,” she meowed, still in her loud tone, “I’ve just noticed that recently I’ve had to ask cats to repeat themselves a lot, and I’m worried that I might be losing my sense of hearing.”
Willowpaw really hoped that wasn’t the case, hearing was a vital part of being a warrior!
