Leechscar padded out of the warriors' den with a drowsy glint in his green eyes. He yawned and looked up at his ticked-off mother perched on the Galewood. He assumed this would have to do with the twolegs. As he padded closer to the gathering cats, Leechscar began to hunt down his siblings. He found Rainkit getting fawned over by Leopardsong; there was Coyotekit, Raccoonkit, and Orchidkit.
"Peachkit, Driftingkit, Shrikekit," Leechscar called, his paws drawing toward the nursery. If they missed their ceremonies a second time, he wasn't sure how Twilightstar would react. He was cuffing them, lazy furballs.

Oh!!! She had been asleep?! In… The middle of the day?! Shrikekit blinked her sleepy eyes open, trying to remember how this even happened. Oh! Yes. She’d been running round all morning… And there was no one around to play, sooooo she figured the best thing to do was sleep. But, it looked like everyone was gathering for a meeting now - OH and that meant her ceremony would happen TODAY! She came bounding along, greeting Leechscar with a big smile, “I’m heeeereeee!!” She announced, in a little sing song voice.
“Nectarpaw!” The blonde cheerfully responded to his cousins call, happy to see some of his family seeking him out. And well, based on Miss Twilightstar’s demeanor the extra support would likely be appreciated. It doesn’t sound like good news, and based on what he’s heard about recent twoleg activity this could get very scary. Surely everything would work out, it always does, and Twilightstar knew what she was doing.. but blind nativity and positive won’t get anywhere. Whatever it was hopefully the season will warm sooner rather than later, more herbs in case of bad news as well. “How’s training going? How was your day?”
Twilightstar's claws bit into the limb beneath her as she sat up straight. Her sympathy for waking many of them from their slumber caused a pang of guilt to echo in her chest. It didn't linger long as she recalled the twolegs.
"Listen well," The lilac leader's voice commanded all attention. "I know many of you didn't seem too concerned about the twolegs in Windy Hills, perhaps assuming they'd be passing through. Sadly, that won't be the case. After I took out a patrol to the Windy Hills to try and figure out what the twolegs were up to, we found they left strange sticks poking out of the ground, string strung around the territory, and odd visible markings on the ground left by something Mosspaw said is called paint. We're able to dig up their sticks and take down their string, and after learning that this paint wasn't poison, we could tear up the markings they left on the grass." Twilightstar relayed their findings with a scowl.
"Still, we were left in the dark about what they were doing in the hills, so I went to the outskirts and spoke with an outsider who had more knowledge of the twolegs and their strange ways. He believes the twolegs are permanently planning to take over the Windy Hills and are building a den. Unfortunately, it seems he might be right. On my way out of camp, I heard the roars of monsters, and on my way back, I saw enormous, strange, bright monsters sleeping in the hills. I've been told they only bring these monsters to destroy territory so they can build their dens on our land."
"We must fight back. If we leave these twolegs be, we lose the Windy Hills. After this meeting, I will take any warrior and apprentice who wants to accompany me to Windy Hills to destroy the sleeping monsters and any other twolegs stuff they left on the territory." Twilightstar wouldn't normally go near a sleeping monster, but she's been reassured numerous times that the monster won't wake without a twoleg nearby.
"Apprentices under six moons and any apprentice without battle training will remain behind in camp." She added quickly before any newer and younger apprentices could get their hopes up. They'd have their chances to deal with the twolegs in time, twolegs were stubborn and strange creatures, as they have proven. She wasn't expecting them to turn tail and run after this, but sitting back and doing nothing wasn't something she or WindClan could do. The twolegs needed to know that they weren't giving up their territory without a fight.
"We'll begin our apprentice ceremonies. Shrikekit, Coyotekit, Rainkit, Burningkit, Emberkit, Flickerkit, Sunkit, Peachkit, Dreamkit, Sparkkit, Orchidkit, Smolderkit, Raccoonkit, and Driftingkit, come sit below the Galewood." Another large group of apprentices, half of them hers. Twilightstar's eye darted around as she picked out her kits, missing a few. Leechscar's call calmed a little of her concern, she didn't need her kits missing their ceremonies again. But honestly, the kits missing their ceremonies was the least of her concerns right now. #wcmeeting

Leopardsong pinned her ears back at the startling cry from outside. A meeting so late? She knew Twilightstar would have called a meeting now unless it was important, but she couldn't but worry about not getting any sleep tonight now that the kits were all up. This would be a fun night for her and the queens.
Arching her back and yawning, Leopardsong padded out of the nursery and was immediately greeted by a little attention fiend. She couldn't help but beam at Rainkit. Rainkit was the one who got attached to her the most out of all Twilightstar's kits. Something she couldn't help but be grateful for. The kit reminded Leopardsong of Leechscar with her bossiness and Whisperinghive due to her open favoritism of the forever queen.
"You want me to make you prettier, a daunting task for someone as radiant as yourself, but I'll do my best." Leopardsong purred as she sat behind the kit to start grooming Rainkit's pelt. Her ears pricked as Leechscar passed by calling for his younger siblings. He was a good older brother. The she-cat twitched her ear in greeting him and chuckled as Shrikekit arrived at his call.
Her full attention was given back to Rainkit as she smoothed down unkempt fur and removed any specks of dirt from her pelt. "There you go, Beauty." Leoaprdsong finished and circled the kit to ensure not one hair was out of place. Twilightstar's voice made her pause and look up at the leader as she announced the problems with the twolegs. Oh, dear?! She had heard about the twolegs but hadn't thought they'd be sticking around. It sounded much worse than she had anticipated if Twilightstar was calling the whole clan together.
Would they have to move again? Worry made her tail curl behind her, but she forced a light smile on her maw when the topic changed to the apprentice ceremonies. "Off you go." She told Rainkit, giving her cheek one last affection lick before she left. There goes another batch of kits to grow into great warriors. It left such a melancholy feeling inside the queen.

Flickerkit looked up curiously as Twilightstar spoke, Darn, she wanted to go. It's not fair! Why did she have to be a kit. She pouted for a moment until Twi finally got to the ceremonies. Her name was called and her eyes went wide. She hadn't been expecting this, though she probably should have.
The large mostly white she-kit dashed forward, looking up at Twilightstar excitedly. She shot a glance back to her parents and older siblings. She then looked for her littermates, why hadn't Sparkkit been called up? Hopefully she still would...
She frowned for a second, still searching for her other siblings that'd been called up along with her.

Time had passed so fast... it felt like just yesterday she'd just had her litter, but now they were being called up to be made apprentices. She shot a glance towards Fallensky and Hollyhawk, both made her so proud... she was blessed with such a beautiful family.
Her gaze swept over the clearing as she searched for Whiteflame.
Fallensky tipped her head in confusion as only four of her siblings' names were called. Burningkit, Emberkit, Flickerkit. What about Spark-kit? She sighed, her eyes bright as she watched her half-siblings scamper up to the Galewood. She gave an encouraging nod to Flickerkit, purring as she sat down.

Jasminepaw stretched nimbly as she padded out of the apprentice's den at Twilightstar's call. She looked up as her leader spoke and explained the issue with the Twolegs, and frowned in response. Sounded serious. The speckled she-cat noticed her mother by the nursery ushering Rainkit forward, and smiled, trotting over to sit next to her. "Good evening, mother." She purred, reaching up to nuzzle her mother's cheek and chin as she did. "I apologize, I know I haven't visited in a while." She murmured as she sat next to her, hoping she wouldn't mind if she sat with her during the meeting.
Sneezepaw's heart began to speed up as Twilightstar spoke. Twolegs, trying to invade WindClan territory? Taking over Windy Hills, building a den over top of it? Sneezepaw clenched their jaw in a kind of determined grin. No way WindClan was gonna let that happen! No way Sneezepaw was gonna let that happen. Twolegs... And monsters, too! Now that they'd had their combat training, they had a chance to prove their worth! Prove that they could stand alongside their Clan and fight for it, too!
Sure, maybe Sneezepaw hadn't ever actually seen a Twoleg or a monster before, but how tough could they be? There's no way they'd be anywhere near WindClan's strength!.. Well, no, that couldn't be right. Otherwise, why would Twilightstar bother announcing it like this? But still! This wasn't anything Sneezepaw and co. couldn't take care of; nothing like that even existed. Maybe it would take a bit of time, but that didn't matter. Everything would turn out just fine in the end.
Sneezepaw began to smile excitedly, flicking their tail and bobbing their head with agitation as they waited for Twilightstar to finish her speech. They were so doing this.
