It was about time that Badgerscar left the medicine den. He had been in there all week trying to make it comfortable and organized for him and Bouncepaw. He was now sick and tired of that stupid den he just wanted to leave camp. Get away from everything. Maybe practice his battle skills. Being a medicine cat didn't stop him from practicing his warrior moves. No way would he let them be forgotten.

Badgerscar padded over to the fresh kill pile and pulled out the biggest thing he could find. He had been working, so he deserved this. The medicine cat took his meal and padded over to a shadowy part of the camp. He liked being away from the others unless they were cats he liked, but that only included Dawnstar, Grimhound and Buzzardpaw. Waspkit was slowly getting up there. He needed to prove his strength before he liked him. If not he'd take care of him.

The medicine cat began to tear his meal with his claws. He loved to shred it before he ate it. It helped him with his urge to kill someone. No he wouldn't kill anyone here or in any other clan unless in self defense. He hated rogues and he would always. Unless they joined a clan they were cowards and idiots. They all deserved to die. Well now that his meal was in pieces he began to actually eat it rather than play with it. Maybe he'd get to enjoy his meal in peace.

Foxstorm padded over to Badgerscar. "Are you planning to eat that or just shred it?" She looked at Badgerscar, hiding her disdain. "If you don't plan on eating, that would be a waste, and cats spend a good amount of time catching that, I'll bet."

The medicine cat looked at the cat who came over to him. Were they complaining? He hated complainers. They bored him. They were weak and shouldn't be allowed in a clan. "Why yes I'm not going to eat it. I'm going to waste perfectly good prey.", he growled sarcastically. Of course he was going to eat. What did she think he was? A rogue. No. "I know just how hard cats work to catch food. I'm not an idiot.", Badgerscar retorted.

Foxstorm rolled her eyes. "Oh, ok. Good to know." She looked at the piece of prey, and she was reminded that she was hungry. "Can I have a bite?"

Stormcloud lay inside the nursery on her mossbed, watching the many kits play from afar. She adored taking care of the little furballs, and she was quite happy with her rank as a queen, even though she had enjoyed her time as a warrior a good bit too. As she watched the kittens jumping and mewing and having fun she wondered when she herself would be able to have kits again. She had had one litter before, but sadly none of those kits had managed to live for very long.
Stormcloud suddenly heard her stomach rumble. I should probably go get something from the fresh-kill pile. She got up, shook out her fluffy dark grey fur, and padded outside.
She was going to go straight to the fresh kill pile, but upon getting out she had noticed something in the corner of her eye. Turning her head to look, she spotted a dark brown tabby tom just sitting next to the nursery. How long had he been there? She had barely noticed him!
Let's see...isn't he that one tom who can't speak? Broken...twig? Somethin' like that. He seems kind of lonely...I take it he could do with some company.
Stormcloud walked up to the tom. "Heya! You're Broken..branch? Right?" Wait, he couldn't really respond to that question. How stupid of me! "Hmmm..." How was she going to communicate with him? She could very well talk to him, but he sure wouldn't be able to respond. "Nod yes or no, can I sit down here, next to you?"

Nightfur listened on, her mention to kill the she-cat if the Clan wanted made him uncomfortable, but he made it a point to acknowledge he needed to learn to be more like the Clan he was in; brutal. Their ruthlessness kept him alive, and his past made him equally as upset as Dawnstar's behavior, but he understood her, in a way. At least, he hoped. He looked at Duskfern and curled his lip as she went past his Clanmates, his claws scraping the ground from under him. He felt sort of forced to join the cats that clearly wanted to kill the She, but he wanted to fit in. No more soft Nightfur. That only got him into more trouble.



He was in ShadowClan, not ThunderClan.

Dawnstar let her Clanmates kill, too? He looked at the Leader with pride, then turned to the molly, his gaze growing cold and ready to sink his claws into the cat. He wished Duskfern was his father; he'd have so much for fun ripping fur from that pelt of hers, but he felt a pang of irritation at the fact that she wasn't.
