"Sure. Let's go back now." Fighting to keep the irritation out of her mew Burnetpaw got gingerly to her paws. The bee stings were beginning to really itch now, and she just wanted to get back to camp and give them a properly good licking without the embarrassment of all the cats present watching her. Picking the honeycomb back up from where she had tossed it onto the ground by Bouncepaw's share of the spoils, she began to pad in the direction of the camp. Hopefully the other cats would follow her promptly instead of dilly-dallying like cats always seemed to do.

Goldenhoney nodded to the apprentices when they all decided to head back.

"You should bring that to Lightningstorm if she's in." He said with a smile as he began walking back in the direction of camp.

"And don't forget to rest before your mentors decide to train you again."

Bouncepaw nods. That sounded like a good idea. With the honeycomb still in his jaws, he follows after Burnetpaw and Goldenhoney, but not before wiping the honey off his paws against the grass. It doesn't completely come off, but now his paws aren't going squelch squelch anymore.

Though the sun bakes down on Windclans territory and the day is dry and hot there is no fire to be found here. Various scents float to you on the wind but overall the area is quiet and clear. The danger is elsewhere.

Fleetsmoke breathed a sigh of relief as she found no signs of a fire in Sunset Grove. The she-cat´s blue eyes widened with alarm. That meant that the fire was elsewhere - elsewhere that her Clanmates were checking....

She raced back to report.

Applepaw was happily trotting alongside the warrior that had kindly taken him out for some lessons! Which was super nice! And also super amazing because Applepaw was pretty behind on his big plans to be a warrior as soon as Twilightstar will physically let him. His goal being that she denies him because of being too young and being named as soon as he hits proper warrior age rather than it being because a lack of lessons. After all being named a warrior early would just be so cool!!

The apprentice sheepish look at that, paws halting for the briefest of moments as though he was planning to fidget with them before he was reminded that he was supposed to be walking and stuff still. He followed an actually verbal response, “Well I don’t really know anything at all. I haven’t been on any patrols yet and like I said, I haven’t learned anything from my first mentor and I haven’t gotten a new one yet.”

Though she brightened considerably in the next moment, not that she had been very dim in the first place but it’s the thought that counts as she starts to literally bound away a smidge with a giggle, “But I’ll be a very good learner! See watch this watch this!” the apprentice, with a theatrical hop, landed in a very imbalanced and very impractical over all, hunters crouch.

Applepaw winced out of empathy as the older feline swished their toasted tail. Owie. Applepaw hadn’t been called to deal with the fires so instead he had put his efforts elsewhere. It did make them feel a bit guilty that others were hurt for the clans protection while he wasn’t. But alas, he focused on the feedback he received about his hunter’s crouch and readjusted as best as he could. Put your paws close together?

“Alrighty, alrighty-” Applepaw’s tongue just barely poked past her pointed teeth in focus as she shuffled her paws closer together. Then she made her crouch a little lower before looking up. Her overall posture was stiff and shaky from being unsure. It was a strange position but she wasn’t the warrior so what did she know about hunters crouch. “Like this? It feels a bit funky.”

With the words they lifted their head to peer over their shoulder to see their body for any errors that their inexperienced eye wouldn’t be able to catch anyways, when the movement had their body unbalancing. “Oh dear-” Was Applepaw’s limited response before cutting herself off with a oofmp as she fell down on her side.
