"A-and Ferretkit! Ferretkit is here, too," the kit said from the back of the group.

Deerblossom was sitting in the clearing, scanning it to search for a cat he knew to hunt with. Oh, there was one! The tom padded over to Skunkblaze and smiled. "Hi. Wanna hunt?"

Of course! Skunkblaze readily agreed, happy to be doing something. I was just wondering how I would spend this spectacular afternoon! Hopefully they would find some prey, and not just run around and come back empty-pawed. Silvercinder would certainly like a rabbit. The queens were always hungry. It seemed like they used up more energy than the warriors, keeping the kits in line. @MagicCat99

Rabbitpaw went to pounce at her stomach, eyes widening as she kicked him forcefully in his stomach. he fell backward with a yowl and a grunt. Hitting the ground, he went to scrabble to his paws, kicking up dust. He saw Lynxpaw on the other side. Let's see if I can take her by surprise!He ran toward her swiftly, going to ram his head into her flank from the left in an attempt to bowl her over.

Lynxpaw smiled in triumph, going to roll over and get back to her paws. Though as she was standing up, she was knocked right into, her still unbalanced state causing her to get flung to the side and into the ground. Her chin smacked on the ground, and a pain hit her tongue. Lynxpaw then could taste blood in her mouth, coming from the cut her fangs had made in her tongue when she'd hit the ground. Getting to her paws, Lynxpaw wiped the blood dripping down her chin with a paw. Narrowing her eyes, the feline twitched her tail before going in again, running towards Rabbitpaw, taking a flying leap to the side to try and disorient him, before landing and twisting on her front paws, aiming her forepaws outward to bowl him over and hopefully pin him down at the same time.

But running directly into the tom, she aimed to ram into him with her broader shoulder, and if she didn't succeed she would take a massive tumble into the heather.

Quicksilver was impressed with Pumapaw's quick acting, getting out of the way of his attack. She was learning, that was for sure. It may have been a close call, but she still was getting better.
Quicksilver then watched as she stopped and looked at him, the expression on her face clearly frustrated. Quicksilver gave her a small smile, tail-tip twitching as he awaited her movement. When she came barreling towards him, Quicksilver did the same, running straight at her as well. He was expecting a head-on collision, so Pumapaw's switch of position to ram him with her shoulder caught the tom off-guard. Her much stronger push caused Quicksilver to stumble backwards a bit, falling right onto his rump. Big blue eyes blinked in surprise at the movement, the tom was clearly stunned.
