Owletkit frowned, her non folded ear drooping. The frown soon became a scowl. Oh, no, she was not going to hear that from someone and stay silent like some timid little kitten.

"What's wrong with your attitude?" She snapped back, lips peeling back to reveal her teeth. Well, kitten teeth. Besides the two abnormally large fangs near the front of her mouth.

He flinched backwards as the older kit flashed their HUGE TEETH? WHAT? He quickly lurched back to normal, trying to act like that never happened. "What's wrong with your teeth!" He ignored his mothers warning... again..

Lichenkit dipped their head as they were introduced, Mountainspring beating her to the punch. They shook their head at Pigeonkit's jab. Of course they were scared! Fighting meant someone got hurt. ...And then he went and insulted Owletkit not once, but twice! Lichenkit gaped at his boldness. Maybe their brother was a little bit of a mousebrain. Though they tried their best to not look intimidated by Owletkit's huge fangs.

"Your ear looks nice." Lichenkit commented, trying to recover from their surprise. Time to change topics."Do you have a game you want to play?"

Oh. Oh no. She scared him. Or disgusted him. Or whatever. He looked apalled. She shut her mouth and shrunk, ears drooping even more. As much as she regretted scaring him, he was quite rude. She scowled at him, trying not to show much of her fangs, though they still poked out beneath her lips. She was still scowling when one of the other kits spoke up, and they were obviously much nicer than that other one.

"Thank you! I like your fur. It's very... Pattern...Y. Patterny." She wouldn't comment on the sheer amount of different shades of grey on the kit's pelt. Anyways. A game... "Wanna throw snow at him?" She pointed a paw at the rude kit.

Mountainspring fixed a firm look on the kits. ''No. No throwing snow. You'll get each other sick,'' she mewed sternly, her eyes narrowing down to slits. ''And Pigeonkit, you didn't listen to me. You're grounded for half a moon now.''

Lichenkit arguably had the most color in their coat, but their pale ginger spots were overshadowed by patches of gray against a white coat. Either way, the compliment was met with a smile. "Thanks!"

The smile dimmed slightly as Pigeonkit's grounding was extended. They hoped Pigeonkit wouldn't sulk too much about it. On the bright side, that must mean that play fighting is off the table! As if it wasn't already, with Heronkit also voting for a hunt. "Maybe we can hide stuff in the snow? Then we can look for it, and play with snow."

Baneberryburst looked around at his fellow family and friends. He didn’t know how him tripping face-first into a stream now led to this. His kits were bickering, the other trying to resolve the problem, and Mountainspring telling the kits to be “well behaved”. Oh, sweetheart. Stop stressing and I will deal with it. Am I going to do this right? Or am I going to embarrass myself?

He saw a little kit come up to them then. Owlkit was it? Pigeonkit immediately started being rude to them, but the kit dealt with it by themselves. Hi kit! I’m Baneberryburst! Do you want to play with us? He loved that he got to take in another kit. He needed to step up his game so Mountain didn’t get stressed. Everyone come here so I can tell you what game we are playing!
