Life as a deputy was busy and honestly Crowtooth was debating delegating to the furies more already. He'd had plans today after all and now he was late after dealing with a small hunting mess that shouldve never happened. Padding into the camp with a huff he brightened a bit spotting Cal and waved a tail in greeting before padding over. "Ah good yer here. Sorry fer bein' late life dont stop fer none o' my plans it seems. Howdy ta ya two Wolfcry, hope yer doin' well an' gettin' started on entertainin' those kits, sooner yer done sooner ya can go out o' camp unsupervised." And the tom was sure Wolfcry would want freedom soon enough. No one liked being cooped up. "Fer ya Cal, I wanted ta ask how ya wanted ta get started. We can either do a territory tour where I go over windclan fer ya or we can test yer huntin' an' fightin' just ta make sure ya can hold yer own. Yer choice."
Wolfcry nodded, and suddenly Crowntooth padded up to them. She listened to her deputy then turned and looked back at Cal. "You have fun, okay? learn lots." she purred, giving him a lick on the nose before standing up, she moved slowly over to the warriors den.

Mistykit stumbled out of the nursery into the clearing. She looked around before shaking out her pelt. She padded out towards an empty spot, taking a seat. She dug her claws into the ground hoping to find some cool bugs or worms since that was something she had just gotten into. She liked looking at the cool patterns on the bugs wings or seeing how they move around.

Finally, it was done. It took a lot of struggling, and a lot of apologizing, but finally, Crowtooth looked presentable. If not a little silly, all cleaned up and shiny-furred. Hawkfur stood back, appraising his friend's new look before nodding once. "Better. Now you're not allowed to leave our sight until the Gathering, got it??" The red Fury grinned an almost wild grin, azure gaze alight with the adrenaline of wrestling his friend so he could finally get clean.
Hawkfur glanced to Lightningstorm, giving the molly an appreciative glance. "Thanks for the help. Never woulda had the guts to do it myself."

"I can understand the sleeping sounds, it really is relaxing." She commented before continuing to listen. Then the next sentence. "Your mother has such a pretty name. Flower.. I like that name." She opened her eyes, sitting up. She looked at his face.
"Hey, you alright?" She hesitantly wrapped her tail around him, trying to comfort him. "You don't have to tell me what happened but I'm here for you to lean on, if you need it." They spoke softly, offering a small smile. She didn't know exactly what to do, having never been in this situation before, but she acted how she'd want others to treat her when she was sad.
Fleetpaw instictively tensed when Honeysucklepaw wrapped her tail around him, but he didn't flinch or jolt this time. He looked up at her with rounded eyes, genuinely surprised by her kindness. "Th-Thank you..." He murmured, glancing at Honeysucklepaw before looking back at his paws. Surely if they were friends...that meant he could be more open right? "The truth is...my mother died when I very young." He had to take a breath to steady himself, trying desperately not to stutter through this.
Fleetpaw's whiskers quivered nervously, but he pushed himself to go on. "Th-That's actually where my name came from... I-I don't remember what Flower's n-name for me was. But the other r-rogues and l-loners, they s-said I was always quick to f-fl-fllee." He explained. "L-Like, my image was 'fleeting', that kinda thing... S-So I just went by Fleet." He had explained part of this to Twilightstar when he initially joined WindClan, and she let him keep the name. "A-At least...at least I'm fast right?" He pointed out with a chuckle, glancing at Honeysucklepaw with eyes of mixed emotions.
Shame, laughter, the dark humor about himself was something he used to cope with his uselessness. But the statement also wasn't wrong, he was fast. Maybe not as fast as a full grown, fully trained WindClan warrior, but the clan's reputation did seem to fit him perfectly. Maybe that was this...StarClan's interference or something. The thought did give him some comfort, maybe he'd be useful to his new home after all. "A-Anyways," he meowed, interrupting his thoughts and shaking his head as though shaking water from his whiskers, "I remember my mother's scent. S-She smelled warm, a-and like flowers. I-I...I think she liked flowers. S-So I like them too..." He had taken a roundabout way of sharing the story, but there it was. He finally had the confidence again to meet Honeysucklepaw's gaze, some relief showing in his eyes. It felt...strangely good to talk about his past and his mother with somecat else.
