Ashfeather flinched slightly and shifted on her paws a little bit. She didn't know how to feel, but it did make her feel a bit better. "Er... th-thanks," she stammered, her voice a bit shaky. "I'll... try not to." A lot of cats told her that... sometimes. She fumbled a little with her voice and stayed there for a moment before remembering the words of many. "U-uh... how's life...?" she asked, wanting to change the subject.

Nodding along, Thornpaw got the idea. At his order to do it, she mewed I can do that! Whirling away into the sun, she paused to let him turn his head and be blinded, and scooted behind him, swinging her paw at his flank. @TheNyanCatMinecart

Despite himself, Wolffang spun around to where the apprentice had moved and his eyes got blinded by the sun. Flinching away, he noticed the shadow of the apprentice moving behind him and began to turn around before feeling a paw smacking his flank. He instantly whirled around, sunspots still bright in his eyes, a bit unbalanced. "Good job," he praised. "Pretty good." He could see some potential in this Outsider. "That blow would knock over Twistedface." He looked at Thornpaw before continuing. "Now, try again, but use a different tactic." His ears flicked. This would be interesting to watch. "Using both of the things that I have taught you... surprise me."

Um, ok. Thornpaw mewed, unsure how to surprise him. Maybe if she hit him first, spun around, and then tried to jump on him. That might be interesting. Putting the first bit of her plan into action, she swung her paw at his chest, hoping to distract him. @TheNyanCatMinecart

Wolffang let the blow hit, although it didn't do much, just bashing against his massive tuft of fur that covered pretty much most of his chest. He wondered why she was doing that move, but hey, she probably had something planned. The tom felt his body tense as he prepared for another blow, which was what he was expecting.

Gullpaw gave a nod. Yes she liked to be a spoiled brat by being Coldamber’s only child, but she sort of had siblings, Beepaw, Flamingkit, Songkit, and uhh Applekit? She wasn’t sure who else there was,” Of course. I’d be happy to help you with training.“ and understanding Deadpool she thought.

Beepaw dropped the moss she had and padded over to Gullpaw and gave her a very brief hug. She was excited to have a new friend! A new pal!
"I'll get done real quick with my nest."
She hobbled over to the unfinished nest and quickly finished. It wasn't in a good shape for sleeping, not being very comfortable, but she could fix that later when Gullpaw wasn't waiting up on her to finish this.

Gullpaw flicked her tail,” We can’t really leave camp for some lessons, so we can do it in the clearing I guess.” she meowed,” Hmm....maybe we can start with the hunter’s crouch or some easy battle moves.” she meowed

Beepaw used her paw to make a final squish to the bedding and padded back to Gullpaw. She wasn't too upset, really that they couldn't leave.
"That's alright, I'm just excited to do some training. Any training"
She had so much excess and pent up energy suddenly and recently. Well, since she became an apprentice.

"Okay," Duskkit sighed, looking down at his paws. He was a little upset, but he didn't want to complain about it. "Can we play a game?" he asked, his amber eyes glimmering excitedly.
