Hollyheart looked around the camp. She wanted to go and hunt for her clan, but she didn't know if she could go out alone. How she longed to have someone to hunt with. She sighed, deciding to go find a sunny spot to lay down in, and take a nap.
DaylightWing limped and stumbled their way over to MudHound.
'Hey.. I have a question. Uhm.. How did you adjust to.. y'know.. losing your leg? Like.. how did you manage to learn to walk so easily?'

Food food food lots of food omnomnomnomnom. The hornet had been gleefully taking apart a robin when they were approached, head popping up to see an approaching Daylightwing who'd, ah yes, had lost a leg recently. With a waved tail the tripod invited her to sit, quickly swallowing their mouthful to speak.
"Heya Daylightwing, how you doing, going ok? Pain faded? I got some things that can help but Im not gonna tell you unless youre actually proper healed, no more deep or surface pain or sore/tightness and only like ghost pain if that at all. Because truth is Ive not had a leg for ages now and even if it looks easy it wasnt, not for a very long time."
Loudpaw sat hauntedly in a corner of camp where she was partially hidden from view. she sat with strands of long grass spread out before her as she carefully chose strands to weave together tightly. she'd been at it for a while now, and had a piece of woven grass in front of her paws. she carefully then took some mud and gave it a muddy paw print in what she guessed was the middle...
Orangeblossom let a loud purr rumble in his chest as he watched Vixenkit get a hang of the crouch relatively quickly, though he tilted his head curiously as the kit suddenly got up and pointed outside and the warrior stood up. Oh, did he want to go outside now but they were about to get to the actual pouncing part. Well, such is the whims of a kit and who is Orangeblossom to tell him no. Getting some more space sounded pleasant as well he’ll have to admit. “Wanna go outside? Well, sure thing! Though we were about to get to the actual pouncing part of the mini lesson.” The warrior spoke easily with a grin and he started to follow the kit out of the nursery and blinked as he came out into the much more open space. AS much as Orangeblossom was familiar with the nursery and quite liked it there were times that it just felt a bit too crowded. So it was nice to get out, is what he was saying.
The ginger warrior then turned his attention back to the kit with another tilt of his head, “Soooo, what did you wanna do out here, buddy?”

She pointed out into the grass. The nursery had a hard floor and maybe the grass would be softer. Though that hadn't been his initial idea. But if Orange could help her, then it was ok. He trotted over the the grass, which was much softer, and easier to just simply walk on. She huffed and sat down though, as her paws began to ache. He was still relatively young after all, and pretty weak when it came to strength in general. She waited for Orange to come over to the small area of grass she had found, which was still slightly damp, cooling her off.
He then crouched again flicked his tail up and then wobbled back up to a sitting position. Her paws hurt, but that was ok, she would try her hardest, figuring, from what Orange had said, he wanted to show her how to pounce. He moved his eyes over to Orange in anticipation. Maybe, just maybe, Orange would think she was ready to hunt a bit, even if it was just leaves. And maybe he would take him out to meet other warrior friends of his, or kits. Maybe.

Yarrowpelt eyed the young cat, her smile still set in its place. "It's not a bother, really. I just enjoy the sun. Don't you?" She lifted a paw up to her mouth to lick obsessively in an awkward sort of pause. "I'm Yarrowpelt," she continued after she had finished, setting her foot daintily back on the grassy turf.
Summerpaw. A befitting name for an odd cat, in Yarrowpelt's humble opinion. Their mouth kept twitching, the corners quirking up and down as if they weren't sure if they should smile or remain apathetic to the greeting. The warrior tittered a bit to herself as they finally settled into a small grin.
"I suppose you get this a lot," Yarrowpelt resumed, "but your eyes are so..." She didn't finish her sentence, but decided to leave the conclusion to Summerpaw's imagination. Interesting, certainly, each ruling a separate half of their face, as the sun rules the day and the moon, the night. Yes, interesting, very curious indeed.

Summerpaw let out a small purr of laughter at Yarrowpelt's latter comment. Shrugging, they looked back at the warrior.
"Well, I don't hear it as much as you might think, but I'll take that as a compliment, thank you," Summerpaw gave a small smile before turning to the sky and opened their mouth to answer Yarrowpelt's first question. "I do enjoy the sun, and I quite enjoy the moon as well. Sometimes I just really can't decide."
