it sure looked like they couldnt catch a break today, but at least this interruption was positive. a warrior minkpaw was only vaguely familiar with, they had never talked, not recently at least, with two burdock roots and broom in her jaw. pleasantly surprised, she had turned to face the warrior after noticing their apperance, she came closer to inspect the herbs.
"these are great, thank you so much" she smiled at the warrior, theyd be very useful in the future, and this meant she wouldnt have to bother a warrior to go look for the herbs any time soon. gathering the herbs up, they would possibly finally be able to talk to cobwebpaw without any further interactions, especially now that firetail and the other two were taken care of.

cobwebpaw nodded simply, acknowledging minkpaw's statement before turning to spottedstream. ' what minkpaw said. can you please keep an eye on these three? minkpaw and i have to talk. if you'd like, you can also sort these new herbs into their categories over here. '

she paused for a shaky breath. ' just sort them into the piles that look the same. ' cobwebpaw's heart warmed at dusklion's nickname for her and she affectionately bumped the larger warrior's flank. she then turned to minkpaw, and gestured with the tip of her tail to the back of the med den, limping painfully along.

giving cobwebpaws leg a concerned look she followed along, choosing to stay quiet, they had reacted negatively last time so perhaps her concern wasnt welcome.. but honestly she found it hard to stay focussed on cobweb's leg, or even cobwebpaw herself, suddenly feeling her heart start to flutter anxiously. realistically there was no reason to be this nervous about a simple chat with a friend right? yeah yeah there wasnt a reason for this, theyd probably just uhm discuss herbs? maybe cobwebpaw had found out about the weird plant she had been seeing around a lot, the weird bushy light green plant was still in the storage, far away from the other herbs, just in case, but in there anyway. the mental pep talk and attempt at distraction tragically didnt do its work, queasy feeling still present in her stomach.
"soo-" she began, stretching the word to fill the silence when they arrived in the furthest corner of the den.

The silver warrior nodded before turning to the herbs. She spotted comfrey, and grabbed the three, reciting the uses in her head Lined in nest helps with aching, used to help inflammation and wounds, wrenched claws, burns, and broken bones. She took the three comfrey and put it aside. She next moved on to the Burdock Root, although she didn't know what it was. She spotted two in Dusklion's pile and two in Martenburr's. They looked similar, so she grabbed the four herbs and put them aside. The last herb brought in was from Dusklion's pile. She had never seen those herbs before, but since they were the last left and looked similar, she put those in a pile and set them to the side.

Spottedstream glanced at the two cats in the medicine den. They would need rest, so she wouldn't bother them.

As the multitude of cats came in and out of the den, Minnowsplash awoke from their little nap to see a pair of bright amber eyes and a face full of fluff barely a muzzle-length away. Minnowsplash lept to their paws before remembering that it was Duststorm, a fellow clanmate. In front of her was the unfinished fish that they had ordered her to eat. What an odd cat. Who doesn’t finish something when they’re hungry? Looking around, Minnowsplash figured that Minkpaw and Cobwebpaw were probably talking in the back of the cave, and a new warrior (Spottedstream was it?) was arranging some herbs. “Can I leave yet?” Minnowsplash asked Spottedstream, figuring that the she-cat was probably in charge. They hated to leave Duststorm behind, but they had a duty to fulfill as a warrior of RiverClan. As they waited for a response, Minnowsplash curled up next to Duststorm once more and gestured towards the fish. Why didn’t she finish it? What was she waiting for, StarClan’s approval? they thought.

At last the sun rose, and the tom felt a roaring pain in his mouth. Testing his jaw, it didn't move, only throbbed. Nudging Darkwind awake, he trotted to the camp at last after Martenburr had pointed out the direction to them.

Heading straight for the medicine-den, he pushed Darkwind in and then squeezed in as well.

"Mmf-orm!"
(Duststorm!)

Bounding over to his friend, he nudged her gently.

Teardrop's Injury - broken, swollen & inflamed jaw.

She turned, startled by another nudge. Duststorm held in a burst of laughter at the tom's puffy face. Instead, she spoke in her usual concern.
"What happened? Wait.. it doesn't look like you should move that.."

Darkwind limped along Teardrop. Pain shot from his paw to his shoulder. He stumbled on hoping to rest soon.

He urged all the concern to his eyes, hoping Darkwind would pick up the silent, "are you okay?"
