"I wouldn't care." It's flat, but true. A lifetime ago Wolfhive was a lone survivor kitten in the territory, being near-eaten by a fox that'd taken out his siblings. The cats attached to him by blood abandoned him. "And I recommend you don't start. Unless you have a personal connection to this cat, it shouldn't matter. Blood doesn't define you, it's what you do -- 'n the relationships you build." Fallingkit could choose to whine and pout about some nameless blood tie, but it seemed impractical and foolish to Wolfhive. "'N don't go thinking anyone around here's gonna care you aren't full-Clan, we're so mixed up I don't even think a 'pure' blooded one exists. Just put ThunderClan first 'n you're golden."

Wow. Just watching the two cats talk - especially Fallingkit- was getting irritating. With an annoyed huff, she walked over to Wolfhive and Fallingkit, shooting a look at the demoted cat.

"What are you to randomly start an arguement for no apparent reason? You started yowling at Thorntail, and now you're trying to pick a fight with Wolfhive?" She growled, her words coming out as almost a hiss. "Grow up already, no wonder you're demoted. Non Full-Clan cats are just as important to the Clan as Full-Clan cats. And if you think otherwise I suggest you get yourself checked out with the Medicine cat because something is wrong."

FAlling-kit rolled his eyes "wolf-hive I can still feel upset with my mother ya know, its not that I am half clan just that my mother told me so late as if I give a damn about my real father. heck for all I know thunder clan is my clan." he turned to mapledawn "I am not trying to fight wolf hive And I didnt start no argument I can have feelings about my own parent's unlike you who buts in to other cats conversations and Trys to start a fight. Now you start talking down to cat who has some troubles AND I know I ain't the most troubled cat but the last few moons for me have been rough So deal with it and stop trying to get into a argument with me ." he said turning off to the nursery

Fallingkit seemed to be pulling assumptions out of the air. Hmm. "I didn't say to not be upset with your mother, she sucks. But don't have your tail in a bunch 'cause of some nobody." He had already established the parentage to be an issue - backpedaling now made no sense to Wolfhive. But it wasn't important enough to him to push the matter, his focus on Mapledawn with an irked twitch of his tail. "Mapledawn, while I appreciate your efforts to help, it isn't necessary and you don't need to verbally attack Fallingkit over this. Now I suggest dropping this subject." Wolfhive didn't really want trouble, he just intervened to make sure things were fine.

Before Fallingkit completely was out of reach, Wolfhive moved to lightly bop his head. "If you wanna talk, I'm available y'know. You don't have to stew alone."

Mapledawn pinned her ears at Fallingkit's harsh retort, but stayed calm. She glanced over to Wolfhive, and simply gave him a nod before shooting Fallingkit another look before turning away herself.

"Of course, Wolfhive. I apologise." She said before completely turning her attention away from the two cats.

Another victim to the creepy stare.

Owl-like eyes stared intensely at the warrior known as Cunningshrike. There was no emotion behind the stare. It was blank. An absolute abyss into the realm of her dark mind. There wasn't even a reason for her to be staring at the tom. None. He just happened to be in her field of view and now succumbed to the soul-burning gaze.

The cat whose thoughts controlled her actions, had no thoughts at the moment. This was solely Treepaw doing what she did best. She didn't even know who this tom was, but whatever he was doing seemed interesting enough to pique this interest she found. Would he approach her? Should she approach him? No. She needed her inner demon to tell her to do that, so she waited.

And waited.
And waited.

“Really? You know where it is?” Leafcry blinked hopefully at the apprentice. “Wait, at the very top of a tree? How did it get up there..?”

That was pretty odd. Any cat who happened to stumble across the trinket had little reason to do much other than discard it and forget about it. So why would it be in a tree, much less the very top? Well, maybe it wasn’t completely out of the question, if a crow or something had gotten to it...

“Well, either way, you wouldn’t mind taking me to this tree, would you?” Leafcry hoped that the apprentice wouldn’t have any inconvenient questions about this, and they’d quickly be able to go about their day soon.
