Aldermane finished marking the border as quickly as possible, well aware of how little time he had left to finish their patrol and report in, and wouldn't be eager for himself or Goldenpaw to be getting in trouble. Goldenpaw shouldn't, at any rate.
Once the entirety of the border was marked, his pace slowed and he waited for the accompanying apprentice to finish his portion of the border.
"Once you're done, we should be getting back to camp to report in."

The silver tabby shield stalked quietly on the border they had with Windclan. They would scent once in a while but was just making sure that there was no trespassers. Her hazel eyes flickered around making sure that they weren't missing anything.

Her tail flicked slightly as they continued on with the the border patrol alone. This was a risk but there was a lot going on for Riverclan at the moment.

The tabby she-cat's patience was wearing thin, and one could see that by the irate twitch in the tip of her fluffy tail. After what felt like eons, Violetfreckle finally let out a frustrated huff. "Alright, the kid's a no-show. We don't have all day though, so let's go."

With that, she led the way out of camp and toward the WindClan border. She would have much rather patrolled the ThunderClan border, but Violetfreckle supposed their rabbit-eating neighbors could use a check-up. She didn't try to strike up conversation at all until the duo arrived. "Well, might as well go quickly. We've already wasted enough time waiting. Just let me know if you find anything interesting, okay?"

Bluestone grumbled as the young apprentice did not come. as violetfreckle said to go without the kid, the tom perked and followed her. his tail lashed as he walked with the she-cat to the border. Upon arriving at WIndclan border the tom sighed, and looked around, turning his attention to the the she-cat he listened then nodded"we would have been done by now if the apprentice showed up, nevertheless here we are probably gonna be a little bit late" the tom replied veering off to begin the sniffing and rubbing on whatever stuff doings. the tom sniffed the border smelling no windclan scent on the riverclan side, He looked around through his good eye checking the perimeter

The border was surprisingly quiet, but Badgerfoot appreciated that. It would make for a quick and easy patrol, that is... if Amberpaw actually listened. The newly made warrior wasn't entirely familiar with the apprentice or who her mentor was, but it didn't really matter right now. There were two RiverClan warriors he didn't know, and he didn't care to know.

"Let's get this over with, Crowfoot you take the right side, Amberpaw you take the left. I'll cover the middle and cover any spots that were missed. Tell me if you find anything interesting, or suspicious, or if there is nothing going on. Amberpaw, have you learned how to mark the borders yet?" It's best to double-check her knowledge, just in case I missed something. I can't disappoint Fallownose or my mother, I was clearly chosen to lead a patrol for a reason.

Since what Badgerfoot had said at camp, Amberpaw was going to try her best to be polite and behave. Though she had zoned out a bit after Badgerfoot told her to go to the left, which she did. She shook her head when she heard a noise, it was Badgerfoot. "Um, no sir. I have only been shown the borders so far." She told the tom, straitening up trying to seem like she was serious. Though her eyes shone with excitement and eagerness, she was probably betrayed by that. "Why do we need to mark the borders anyway? There is almost no way another cat would go into our territory ... right?" Amberpaw asked, flicking her eyes left and right as if she had expected a cat from Riverclan to attack at any moment. Why would a cat from another clan go into another clans territory anyway? Well Amberpaw didn't have that answer, so maybe Badgerfoot would know.

Thank the Stars there wasn't really anything here, save for a few holes in the ground on WindClan's side of the territory. While Violefreckle wasn't a stickler, she really didn't have time to mess around with them. Besides, crossing ThunderClan's border was way more entertaining, anyway. With that, the tabby cat finished and faced her companion. "You ready to go back?" she tilted her head to the side as she asked.

Bluestone sniffed one last time then feeling an itch, he sat down and began scratching it on his leg, As violetfreckle asked if he was done, the tom stopped itching and turned nodding gently he got up and made his way to violetfreckle, he gave a small grin and began walking towards camp

Lightkit squeaked as she tumbled over a rock. She huffed and shook flecks of dirt from her pelt. She eyed the river with curiosity and headed for the nearest bush. She brushed her fur against the soft leaves and purred with enthusiasm.
