Ashstream hummed as he noticed the coolness of the air. The temperature felt amazing against his pelt. The weather wasn't too hot, nor too cold. It was just right. "Yeah.. leaf-fall and new-leaf have to be the best two seasons..." he trailed off. The black and white tom took a deep breath as he enjoyed this moment with his sister.
"Oh... thank you..." the warrior replied. He gratefully took the trout that his sister, Pigeonpelt, had nudged towards him. He took a small bite. Birds were chirping softly in the background, it had a beautiful melody to it. Slowly, he chewed his bite and swallowed.
"I'm glad you're doing well Pidge. Today is a lovely day." Ashstream looks at the sky again. The clouds were making funny-looking shapes today. He looked back at his sister with a hard-to-read expression.
"Hmm. I've mainly been basking in the sun today, trying to enjoy the weather before it gets too hot." He nods his head as he takes another bite of the trout. After chewing on it for a bit, he swallowed it to talk again.
"Yeah.. that'd be nice... As far as I know I don't have any patrols tomorrow, so if you want to go then... I'm free," Ashstream murmurs to his sister. He thinks for a moment. The wind rustles his and Pigeonpelt's fur again.
"Yeah... Me too... I wonder who will become the next medic... I'm not sure who the candidates are," he mumbled to his twin.
PIGEONPELT Warrior | RiverClan | Molly
The conversation was light and peaceful, as it had always been between the two siblings. Breezily, Pigeonpelt looked up at the azure blue sky, where she squinted due to the sunlight. Drifting white clouds occasionally pass through the horizon lazily. "Yeah..." she trailed off, replying once again, nodding her head in full agreement. It's cold during leaf-bare where the rivers are often iced and frozen up. During green-leaf, well, hardly would anyone want to move.
"You're welcome," The molly replied once again as well, her ears flickering back and forth. Then there was a moment of silence when the two finished their prey, only the sounds of nature could be heard in the background. That was the RiverClan they knew, beautiful, significant, yet however mysterious at the same time. It was the piece of territory that they grew up in and had grown to love and appreciate deeply.
"Sounds fun," Pigeonpelt smiled. "Sunbathing had always been soothing," As she finished the fish, she picked out the bones and put them in a neat pile in front of her to throw away afterwards. Sitting up, she started grooming her soft, black-and-white pelt. Her eyes reflected the scenery in front of her. "I believe I have an evening patrol tomorrow, but I got the whole morning and afternoon open."
"Someone experienced with herbs, for sure," She answered, her tail slightly tilting to the side. "Maybe even one that's closer to Birdsnow as well? So she could trust them."
(bet you thought i forgot but no! i just ignored it ;3 /silly)

a tall silver classic-tabby with well groomed short to medium length fur and icy blue eyes
@Fritter
camp was horribly boring, and his leg was still bothering him, semi constant pain mixed with shallow raspy breaths and a skull splitting headaches all just combined into a heavy tense mood and resulted in the silver tabby snapping at near everyone that crossed his path...more than usual at least. he had been trying to doze, blue eyes semi closed when the vibration and noise of a cat passing him disturbed the sweet sweet peace and quiet of late afternoon. torn ears twitched back in annoyance as he eyed the tom, snow white and like thunderclan didnt touch a hair on his head (i hate translating sayings). "you, cme'here" he half hissed-half stated, pushing himself up and into a seated position to look down at the other tom.
Pepper Bounce
He / Him - River Clan - Warrior
Pepper Bounce wasn’t feeling the Perkiest for the moment, he hadn’t spoken to Gold Fish in an itty bit and he was feeling what only could be described as absolutely horrible, alongside not speaking to the cat who was literally his mate, and who he was meant to be speaking to he had been cooped up in camp, the thing he had only been avoiding since apprenticeship. He jumped as he was spoken to, almost entirely in his head for the moment. Okay, time to get back to being down to earth, now the cat who was telling him to ‘come here’ wasn’t exactly looking peachy’ from what he could see, nor very.. err happy. Was this going to be some lecture? Pepper bounce recalled all of the various things he’d done and found himself clueless. Seriously, what had he done to get called over? Pepper Bounce was great with names, he was the sort to memorise everything about a person, another little tidbit about himself he used to get into every social circle he possibly could. So when he took a firm glance and failed to recall who this was he knew that he he needed to find a way to worm out of whatever angry fit this cat was about to spit out and try for friendship. And perhaps being angry was just this cats resting face. ‘Heya! Did you need me for something?’ He put on as perky of an attitude as he could as he bounced back over, holding a firm smile, or perhaps he shouldn’t smile if he was going to be lectured- but if he wasn’t..this all had gotten way too confusing way too fast for pepper so he’ll just stick with the assumption he’d made.
(Sorry if this is ridiculously messy got a bit confused and im a tad bit tired )

Otterkit watched the two cats from a bit away. Blueriver, one of the list of names he actually knew was sitting besides a smokey grey apprentice. The small kitten actually kind of looked up grey-blue warrior. Blueriver seemed so, carefree most of the time, like nothing ever worried him. Meanwhile Otterkit could rarely look another kitten in the eye and..talk. The brown kitten's maw intensively closed, so he had to rely on paw, tail and ear movements most of the time.
For the apprentice next to Blueriver, Otterkit was unsure. They seemed wild, too wild for Otterkit to understand. Did they never worry about anything? The kit couldn't wrap his head around it. While his mind kept running, his body seemed to be creeping towards the cats, unbeknownst to Otterkit.

The lithe tom came a-bounding out of the warriors den. Well, not quite bounding, per say, but surely a little more excited than he should have been. He wanted to go somewhere and get all this energy out. Wow! He surely should stop before he bothered anyone. Slowing to an acceptable speed was difficult, and he managed to do so perfectly fine!
Well, if you excluded that he tripped over his own feet and tumbled onto his back. With, of course, the comical "Oomph!" sound.
He snorted once, rolled onto his paws, and stood with a shake of the dust off his coat. He looked around, slightly embarrassed, and hoped no one had seen him fall.

Wrenpaw
~<>~
11/100
8 moons || she/her || RiverClan Apprentice || Silver Tongue medium furred silver smoke she-cat; blue eyes
[as always, Wren's opinions do not reflect my own ]
Wrenpaw had been nearby the entrance to the apprentice's den, grooming her fur so it would lay flat - it's a lot of work to keep her fur looking good! Still, she was looking forward to a quiet day, maybe she could force... ahem, that is to say, politely ask one of the Lionhearts to hep with her training. When all of a sudden, some nobody warrior trips over his own paws right in the middle of the clearing. Wrenpaw frowns at him from her spot before stalking over to the fresh-kill pile, deliberately passing the tom on her way.
"And here I am thinking warriors were supposed to be agile and competent," she sneers as she passes him, quiet enough so she's certain only Rainfoot can hear her before turning her back on him and continuing to the fresh-kill.
His paws stopped moving as the apprentice noticed him crawling around and sat in front of him. His tiny black nose let out a puff of surprised air and they looked around with frantic yellow eyes. Realizing how close he was to the cats, there was no way he could turn back now. They'll think he is strange, which, he kind of is. Taking a deep breath he opened his maw before letting out a brief squeak.
The tiny brown's kit's eyes stretched wide in embarrassment. Instead of..talking like a normal kitten, he squeaked at the cats. Otterkit studied his paws, nervous about what the apprentice would say. Or what Blueriver would say. He squeezed his eyes shut and kneaded the dusty ground with his paws. At least this brought him comfort.

Wolfpaw stiffled a laugh as blueriver trotted up "what's going on wolfpaw?" he meowed Wolfpaw glanced up "this little kit was trying to say something... and it was kinfda cute the little mew"

Clovershock
Clovershock sat in the clearing, their tail curled neatly over their paws. They felt a burst of air shoot past them as a warrior ran out of the warrior's den and tripped over their paws. Clovershock chuckled at the fall, their black rosette fur ruffling up softly. "Hey, you alright?" They said, padding over to the fallen warrior. Clovershock's green eyes flickered over Rainfoot, looking for any injuries or signs of pain. They reached out a paw and nudged Rainfoot's shoulder, proding them to get up. "I'm Clovershock, by the way." Clovershock said with a smile, their eyes shining softly.
