Birchbranch lay in the clearing, stretched out in a patch of sunlight.

Though it provided little warmth, Birchbranch's tail tip twitching lazily.

The warrior had nothing better to do, so why not lay in the sun?

She lifted her head as she saw a cat approach her.

Heroneye was skulking about camp. The lack of prey during Leaf-bare always put her on edge, so whenever she wasn’t out hunting, she was rather difficult--even more so than usual. She was pacing about when she spotted Birchbranch sunning herself and suddenly found herself feeling a mixture of resentment and jealousy. How could one possibly be so at-ease at this time?

Suddenly, Heroneye noticed Birchbranch’s expectant gaze and realized that she, lost in her thoughts, had unconsciously drifted towards the other cat.

“Well, um,” Heroneye muttered, desperately scraping her mind for something, anything, to say. “Nice weather we’re having, huh..?”

Sharkhail had a very long day of doing absolutely nothing and oh poor was the poor tom tired! Not really he was just being dramatic which was almost a constant. Nothing was relaxing but it could be quite boring so he needed something to spice up his day and his mind drifted to his mates and a soft purr escaped him with a little smirk. He loved those stinkers a whole lot.

So he grabbed a trout from the freshkill pile and walked over to his mates, Morningmimic and Azealeablood. He then dropped the trout in front of them. "Hello lovelies, I managed to catch this trout for you all. No no, no need to cheer my name." He smirked as he knew he was being cheeky.

MorningMimic rolled his eyes, smacking SharkHail over the head gently. 'I saw you get that from the fresh-kill pile you mousebrain.'

Sharkhail stuck his tongue out playfully at Morningmimic. Insults rolled off of him like water on a duck, the bop did get a snicker out of the tom. "What do you meaning Morningmimic it was a hard fought battle!"

He sat down and looked to AzaeleaBlood and nodded his head. "I figure this would be a nice treat between the three of us. Then if we want to go off and do something we won't be weighed down by a full belly." He said before taking a quick bite of the trout.

Sharkhail lowered his head a bit when Azaeleablood went in for the lick and a purr escaped him. "See someone sees my greatness." He joked again, but he didn't want to push the joke too far so he walked over to Morningmimic and laid down on top of the tom just to be a general nuisance. He gave a quick wink to Azaelea inviting her to join in on the 'attack'
