The call nearly made Cherryswirl jump out of her skin, having been slowly making her way around camp to look for her new apprentice after her chitchat with Fishfreckle - though it was proving difficult with this new distraction arising. Quickly making her way over to the call, she dipped her head to Nightspark, as well as Dusklion with a tired, yet enthusiastic smile. Though, it faltered slightly as she nodded to Dusklion's words,
"Aye - Pebblesplash is with the stars now, sadly..." She shook out her fur, "It's been quiet, hasn't it, Nightspark? Despite so much actually going on..." Cherryswirl glanced over to Dusklion as well, more so curious on both their stances with the clan at the moment.
Springpaw easily came stomping over she was highly annoyed with everything and nothing getting done. To be honest, if she had her way a whole lot of cats right now would be getting their asses kicked by her. Yet she stopped herself most of the time, the lionheart wouldn't get herself in trouble because of them. It would be a whole other story though if she was giving permission to punch a few cats if they tried to even start trouble. "Hello, hello" she gave her usual greeting as she took a seat close by. "Yea, pebblesplash kinda died" she still wasn't sure how to feel about seeing the warrior's dead body.

Treepaw paused shakily. It was weird, Larkstar just not being there- wherever she was. He looked to his paws. He hadn't really experienced death. he experienced lost. When his crush, Primrosepaw had disappeared. Or when his mentor had disappeared. But this was a new kind of loss. It felt like death. No, it felt his death. He raised head, licking his paw gently.

Everything was terrible. Tansypaw and Larkstar were both gone, and Birdsnow was left picking up the pieces. He noticed Fadingsun putting together patrols for prey and herbs, and he gave the tom a nod of respect. It was good to see someone taking action. Sparrowsnarl, on the other paw, knew the patrol he wanted to gather to do some border remarking and herb collection if he could find it.
"Dusklion! Adderpaw! Starlingflight! Sorrelblaze!" He called out into the clearing. "You're with me on a border patrol to the outskirts. Dusklion sent patrols to the clan borders, which is great, but we need to make sure loners and rogues know we're still here. Fadingsun's got the herbs and hunting down, but we'll collect what we can on the way." His gruff voice was firm, leaving no room for discussion as to the importance of this patrol. "We're going to do what we can to help Birdsnow, and I will not tolerate any mouse-brained actions." He wasn't too worried about this crew, hence his reasoning for picking them, but he thought it bared saying. He waited for them by the camp entrance, his scarred visage ominous in the foggy light.
