Taka nodded at the report and lowered his head for a moment. "I am being relocated." He explained. "For the next few days, I will be by the lower ranked wolves to give them any healing necessary." He shook his head. "The thought is that they might stop rebelling if care is shown to them." He lied. She didn't need to know he was being used as a spy for now. "And they only want me to go. You are to stay here and continue your duties here." These were the orders Braith has given to me, and I must leave shortly." He pressed against her. "Promise me you'll stay safe here." He whispered.

Cali looked to him, confused on why it was so short notice. Typical of higher ups...doing as they please with little to no consequences. Cali was taken aback at the show of affection from him and she nodded. “Of course. They will need me here as they need you there. Hopefully you are safe there...I hear that they are killing each other there...please be careful. Do you need help packing?” She asked, already looking around for how she could help.

Taka shook his head. "No I will be fine." He replied. "I don't really need much except for a few herbs I'll be taking along." He turned, ready to head out and sighed. "This is going to be such a drag." He said before stepping out and walking to his new den.

Braith was in the territory where most the slaves were kept. He had a strong demeanor about his walk as he eyed every wolf. By themselves they looked weak and timid. They could never start a rebellion. But together under a cause that they could believe in.... He shook his head. There was no reason to think like that. He would find out the ring leader eventually. With all the precautions he's taking. He has to. He walked into one of the dens and stopped horribly at the stench of blood and rotting meat.

Cali sighed and watched him go. Not long after he left she turned to find more patients staring expectedly at her. Some where whispering amongst themselves about how Taka was not there, others made it known that they didn’t trust in her abilities, threatening to get her exiled if she couldn’t ‘cure’ them. To stop herself from loosing her temper, she took a few deep breaths before smiling at them with the realest smile she could muster.

“Hi, how can I help you today?”

Braith followed that stench to the corner of the den as he inspected it. He turned some moss to see two dead bodies and he had to stop himself from making any type of visual expression. He didn't need to inspect the bodies for more than a second to notice the bite marks on their necks. He shook his head and sighed. That makes two more bodies to their count this week. He turned to look at the slaves, most of which were looking at him. Braith wanted to speak, but he did not want to corner himself as he walked out and left. He needed to go see Ketsueki and talk with Miss Merayu immediately. Picking up his pace to a hurried walk, he rushed over to Ketsueki's den.

All the while she was thinking. Who and why did she need to hear someone? What was so urgent she wondered. As she got up and walked to the entrance, she saw Braith. She sighed, knowing his intentions weren't bad, but meant she was definitely needed to do something. Braith doesn't just talk to people without reason. "Yes Braith? What is it you wanted to say?"

Braith greeted her with a dip of his head. "Ah yes Merayu there is something we need to talk about." He sighed. "However this is a conversation I would like to have....alone." He said as his eyes were shifting towards Ketsueki seeing if they got the he got the hint.

Ketsueki had given many privileges to this wolf...but he was pushing it too far. Without much thought he became protective over Merayu, placing one shoulder between her and Braith as he stood mostly between them, looking at the wolf in front of him.

Braith tilted his head slightly confused at Ketsueki's sudden reaction. Why was he being so defensive. "Because I must talk with her about a serious matter and it is for her ears only?" He explained with a little more detail, genuinely confused about why he was acting like this.

Merayu blushed slightly at the sight of Ketsueki being defensive. So he did care about her? He wouldn't act this defensive otherwise would he? Snapping out of her sudden shock, she eased herself away and stood in front of Ketsueki. "Hey, calm down." She said, still in shock at his sudden move. "I'll be fine. If it's that important, I'll go hear him out ok?" She asked, calming down. "And then we will come straight back."
