rolling in the soft grass that makes up the kit corrals is egretkit, who finally rolls onto her back and outstretches her paws above her. she's been here before, but this time, she's with crowy and gracks instead of sneezy! if she saw sneezy, she definitely would have introduced them so they could all be friends - because the more the merrier, yup! she's okay with sneezy not being here right now, though, because at least she has her littermates here, too. and she loves her brothers a whole lot! so their company is enough.

she wants mama's company, though. for some reason, she's unable to find mama in the nursery. however, mama seems so fierce (she heard that word from a big cat!) and strong - like the big maple tree in the camp -, she assumes she's on a totally epic journey, just like in the stories! it's alright, she's sure mama will come back soon, because her mama is invincible. besides..she has gracks and crowy, her papa too, until mama returns.

and uncle crows, too!

blue eyes widen and the tiny kit swiftly rolls onto her paws once she hears her uncle calling for her. "UNCLE CROWS! uncle crows!!" she squeals, calling out to her brothers afterwards. "gracks!! crowy!! it's uncle crows, come onnnn!!" she chimes before rushing over to her uncle. "uncle crows, uncle crows! I missed you!" egretkit chirps upon reaching crowtooth, attempting to plop down between the scarred toms paws. she's pretty sure uncle crows is important now..not that he hasn't been important. but now, he's important like miss twillystar is..she thinks.

something smells sweet, she realizes when she sniffs. "ooh, a treat! what is it?"

Egretkit seemed to understand the concept of Dead after listening to Sneezy's explanation, and was even calling them super smart and stuff! They were so glad that the other kit seemed to comprehend Sneezekit's Super Unlimited Knowledge. Okay, well, it was sorta limited, but it was still a little less limited than Egretkit's knowledge about being dead, apparently! And that had to count for something, right?

Sneezekit listened to Egretkit's story with bated breath. A huge war... numerous boo-boos... a happy ending... Wow, this was one story! They began to wonder if it really happened in real life, 'cause it just sounded so real. 'Cause war was something that happened in Real Life! It did for smelly old RiverClan, when they got booted out of their territory.

But then, right as the Clans were right in the thick of their battle, a StarClan cat came down and told the leaders to make peace. Huh... they could do that? They could just, like, tell cats what to do? What would happen if someone disobeyed them? Sneezekit was thinking... Super Timeout. Yup, it would have to have been something real spooky like that for even leaders to listen!

"Yeah, that's a pretty crazy story. I wasn't even expecting that ending, 'cause I didn't know StarClan could talk to living cats like that. Also, nobody even got exiled! I thought that's what happened with wars." Sneezekit squinted thoughtfully. Maybe there was more to this war and battling stuff than met the eye. Well, they'd be figuring it out soon, when they became an apprentice!

Suddenly, the lighting in WindClan shifted. The sun was setting over the camp, which could only mean one thing: Prank Time. Sneezy knew that only in the cover of dusk could their most Extravagant and Dastardly Schemes be put into Fruition (without the interference of any pesky adults, that is)!

"Egretkit..." Sneezekit said, their tone suddenly Serious as a mysterious veil covered their face. "I must go... Goodnight." With this, they suddenly slipped away, never to be seen again... for the rest of the day, that is.

Sneaking out of the nursery marshkit moved towards the kit corals. He was bored and wanted something to do. Maybe just maybe a cat or two could allow him to play. If they did. He often had problems making friends with his cross eyes. He had trouble seeing a bit and always messed up. That didn't stop him from trying to play with anyone. Marshkit was ready to try again. He moved over to a couple of kits. "Hey wanna play a game?", he asked. He was prepared to be shut down. He was used to it.

"Why not?" Whistlekit meows enthusiastically. "Sounds like fun! What game?"

She didn't mind Marshkit's cross eyes- yeah, it was weird, but she had since learned that sometimes you need to be quiet about what is weird on other cats. After what happened with Snowybreeze and Freezekit, she wasn't about to easily say such things to cat's faces, ever again. If she went on and on about the weird facts of every cat, she'll likely have no friends. And besides, she liked playing!

Sedgekit nods as his sister does so. He's not as enthusiastic as his sister Whistlekit, he's just relieved that she's not making trouble anymore.

Mothkit squeezed into the kit corrals, a delighted purr of success rattling in her throat as she saw it wasn’t as crowded as earlier.She stretched, tumbling into the tall grass in an attempt to swiftly leap over it.She fluffed up with embarrassment, looking around before rolling to her flank and letting the wind hit her fur.Her green eyes dropped:she had not gotten enough sleep before.
It seemed like a good moon, and it would be good.

Right. So... this all sounded like a wild game of pretend that was now being spoken of as a legendary battle against the vanishing cat. Or... a spirit of some sort had gotten into the nursery to tease kits and pretend to eat them. From what she had gathered, no one had gotten hurt, so assuming it even had been an ancestor come to check on the little ones, she couldn't imagine this was something to worry over too greatly. Still, perhaps she should make a note of asking Leopardsong. She was the head queen, after all. Or maybe even Firestorm. Any excuse to talk to the pretty tabby was always a good one. And besides, Littlekit was concerned, wasn't she? Pretty certain the ginger queen would want to know about her daughter's escapades.

Not one to squash dreams or tease kits for daring to have vivid imaginations, however, Lightningstorm raised her brows, opening her mouth lightly as she gave them a properly impressed look, nodding in approval. "Well if you ask me, it sounds like this bloke needed to take this lesson right on with you lot. Someone should have taught him that you don't put kits in your mouth. Otherwise you suffer the consequences. Especially if you both powerhouses are involved, isn't that right?"

Almond shaped eyes closed momentarily, a purr escaping her as curled her tail around herself, settling down easily between the two that had decided to join her. It would appear that one was missing, but in earnest, Burningkit hadn't seemed all that interested in the first place. While the herbalist would never deny anyone knowledge without good reason, she would never force it upon them either. Learning should be done for the love of learning. For the good what you know can do for you and your clan. Half arsed students were honestly not her highest priority, especially considering how busy her days tended to be. These two had proven to be quite interested, however. Perhaps she could teach them a couple of basics once they learned to maybe not put things that shouldn't be in their mouths in it.

"Now, I think Sneezekit is right. You both came here to learn some herbs, didn't you, loves? So. Before I go teaching you anything of use, we need to learn that unlike that nasty intruder you lot got at the nursery, we don't put many things in our mouths. Tell me, can either of you think of things we don't go eating? And no. Kits is not a valid answer. I already gave you that one, and I'm the only cheeky one here," she chirped, a small giggle escaping her as she let the two kits respond, knowing a back and forth engagement was probably more fun for the younger ones.
