Fria murrowed. "I will; I could sleep for moons, too!" She rubbed his cheek with her muzzle, then jumped onto and over her fence. "I hope the kits don't mind," She said quietly, again looking down at her swollen belly. "Maybe they'll get an adventurous spirit because of all this excitement!" She felt as if her paws wouldn't support her any more, but she forced herself upright.

Blade waved his tail in farewell as she leaped on to the fence. “I'll see you later.” he meowed, looking up. He was wobbling with tiredness and his eyes were half closed. He turned slowly and started to pad back to his den, purring quietly to himself as he went. (Sorry it's short).

"Bye!" Fria called as Blade went back to his den. Well. That was an interesting adventure! She sighed happily and walked over to the little Twoleg flap on the door, reluctantly going inside. At least I have a warm bed to sleep in! ( Mine's shorter XD)

Blade sat on the porch of his Twoleg den, scratching gently at the door and meowing loudly. His housefolk didn't have a flap for him. He had to call for them until the opened the door and let him in. Luckily, they were usually quick to respond, and the door opened. Blade purred and stepped iin, heading for his sort nest. (XD)

Fria lay panting, glad the pain and spasms were over. How could that have been so hard?! But it was worth it. She now had kits, her kits; their kits. Exhausted, she licked at one of the helpless bundles of fur, glancing up at her mate. "We did it," She murmured. "We-We have kits now."

Blade purred, looking down at his kits, pride swelling in his chest as he looked down with loving eyes at his mate. “You did it!” he purred, nuzzling her cheek, then licking each of his three kits. “I'm a father!” he gasped, sitting back on his haunches and examing each kit carefully. They were parents! He lay on his side, purring, joy, pure joy, more joy than he'd ever felt before clouding out all his other emotions as he lay with his mate and kits. His family.

[Brunch]

Small and fragile, Spark squealed and squeaked, his body squirming in the cool, leaf-bare air. The small kit sidled up to his mother, and began suckling quietly, while needing her stomach. Though he felt the presence of more cats than his mother, who he could barely identify in his small kit mind. There were three more forms, ones that scents mingled with the sweetness of his mothers milk. Spark wiggled and squirmed, part of his 'sparky' personality showing through, though he was only minutes old.

As one of the kits began suckling, she licked its head and purred again. "We need names," she murmured. "What should we name this little guy?"

Blade purred, looking down at their kits, love alight in his amber gaze as he stared at the very wriggly one. It was very wiggly, and already, it couldn't seem to hold still. Blade laughed. “How about.... Spark!” he exclaimed, thinking that the name seemed to fit the bouncy tom very well indeed. He looked at Fria. “Now you name one.” he meowed encouragingly, not adding that after they had named the kits, she could sleep. He would sit beside her and watch the kits while she was asleep. He could easily tell that she needed sleep anyways.
