Ferretkit looked at his sister, and shook his head. "I do not know, sorry Songkit." he said pressing his muzzle against hers. "But you are right, we got Hawk-kit too." He purred.
Fernkit looked back to his parents and siblings. Blinking nervously. He looked over to Sweetkit, only a moon older than him whom had become a close friend of his. Sweetkit gently placed her long white tail along his own dark-ish tail. Fernkit gave her a gentle smile of thank
Heathernose blinked warmly at Fernkit, unable to hold back her purr. She was nervous for her young son of course, what mother wanted to see their young go off and face dangers? But she was proud of him too. Casting an anxious glance at Twilightstar. If their leader thought Fernkit was ready then...who was she to question? There were mixed emotions swirling inside the queen's heart, but she wanted to show Fernkit support nonetheless.
Oh HO! Deadmoon wasn't particularly concerned by the kits coming up, there were bound to be oodles of children every meeting until all of the big 'ol litters were out of the nursery, but Vinepaw was going up? Vinepaw was going up! That meant warriors ceremony! Heck yeah! Deadmoon was actually unironically quite excited, sitting up a bit straighter than she had before. She was maybe starting to think of Vinepaw a bit like Owlpaw and Snowybreeze, and so she was very very ready to yowl at the top of her lungs when the apprentice became a warrior. Or maybe it would officially be a tunneler? Who knew! Whatever. A fully responsible adult cat! Hooray! (Open)

Fernkit looked back to his mom. The kit blinked at his siblings. Why weren't they going with him?

The tom sat in the ditch waiting for an answer from Starclan. "Silverpelt is quiet, maybe being a kittypet was a bad idea."The tom lied down falling asleep.
He pokes his head out of the nursery before taking a couple steps outside. Peachkit doesn't stray far, sitting down near the entrance to watch the meeting curiously. He hasn't interacted much with anyone in WindClan like usual kits do. He doesn't think he's a usual kit. He has vague feelings of recognition of cats who he's never even talked to! Peachkit wants to talk to Twilight—no, mama—about it, but she's busy being leader and he has twelve other siblings. He doesn't want to be a bother. She has so much on her mind after the fires that he doesn't remember were put out and getting ready for leaf-bare. Still, he wishes he could talk to someone about his weird feelings.

It's been far far far far far far tooooooooooooo long since Moonkit had last visited her brother, younger brother probably! Yeah, Moonkit was decidedly the oldest now, she just decided. So she was already fired up when she finally managed to cross into the living world, after many attempts at doing so. The most that she was able to do was bring a living cat up from their dreams but look it! Look at her! The newborn sized kit wiggled her paws into the soil. The feeling was distant, almost as if she didn't carry the weight of a living cat, having nothing but stars in her biology versus everything a living cat has. But it was really real! Real living dirt! Real living cats she noticed next, their pelts, warm with life, made her almost pause in her mission to get to the front, though she didn't!
"VINEPAW!!! BROTHER! That's my brother!!!" The tiny kit explained, hopping up and down in pure happiness and glee, if an onlooker didn't know any better, they may have thought it was her own warrior ceremony. Or maybe rather it was her apprentice ceremony! The kitten continued her loving cheers and excited calls, uncaring of the attention she may be attracting and uncaring of the fact that this may be disrespectful to do during a warrior ceremony, she didn't really know the proper In-And-Outs to things like this, having only observed from above.
"MAMA IS PROUD OF YOU!" She finished her screeching with a final shout, though it was slightly quieter than the start because she was starting to wear out. Moonkit looked at Vinepaw with wide eyes, a grin still on her face as she finally quieted to watch the rest of the ceremony. Though a couple of childish glares, though lacking in true frustration, to the kits who would be named before Vinepaw. It was his day! He shouldn't have to wait for a bunch of kittens. Ironic given the fact that she herself was no bigger than the day she died... well if you could even say that she lived at all.
Fernkit looked back to his mom. The kit blinked at his siblings. Why weren't they going with him?
Heathernose blinked apologetically at her poor son out there by himself and shook her head. She wasn't sure why Hawk-kit had decided to wait, and she had thought that Songkit wasn't going to delay her ceremony after speaking with Twilightstar but maybe that was wrong? Oh dear... Her paws itched to be by Fernkit's side during this confusion, but she stayed still. She didn't want to risk embarrassing Fernkit, he was about to become a -paw after all. He would need to learn how to stand on his own.
Okay there was Windkit, Maplekit, Fernkit, Sweetkit, Plumkit, and unless her eye was playing tricks she didn't see Patchkit among them. Vinepaw stepped up behind the gathered kits, but no Swiftleap either. Hmm, not the greatest impression to leave on a clan leader. She noticed Heathernose's anxious glances, but as no words or protests followed, Twilightstar continued.
"Windkit, Maplekit, Fernkit, Sweetkit, and Plumkit it's time for you to be apprenticed. From this day until you receive your warrior names you'll be known as Windpaw, Maplepaw, Fernpaw, Sweetpaw, and Plumpaw." She purred to the newest apprentices.
"Windpaw your mentor will be Rabbitfoot. Warmsun you'll be training Fernpaw. Sunnypurr you'll be Sweetpaw's mentor. Lichenshock, I'd like you to mentor Plumpaw. Maplepaw, your mentor is Scorpionsight." While they meet and greet Twilightstar moves on.
"Reassignments. Daffodilpaw, you'll train with Snowybreeze. Fleetpaw you already know you'll be training with Dustbunny from now on. Cardinalpaw your new mentor is Duskhound." She told them all. She hoped Cardinalpaw's new mentor would influence him better than Fadingpaw. She knew Snowybreeze and Dustbunny would be fine mentors.
Once the apprentices and mentors cleared out of the way, Twilightstar leaped down from her perch and sat at the roots of the Galewoods, beckoning Vinepaw up with a swishing wave of her tail.
Vinepaw had finished training quicker than the average apprentice so he would be considering rather young being apprenticed under twelve moons. It was uncommon but Dustbunny had assured her he was ready.
"I, Twilightstar, leader of WindClan call up on our warrior ancestors to look down upon this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the warrior way and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Vinepaw, do you promise to protect and serve your clan even at the cost of your life?"
#wcmeeting
Patchkit had been so caught up talking with Skykit that he hadn’t even noticed that he had been called up to the Tree at all… that was until he actually processed he had been called up and his head whipped over to the kits that had listened… oh, well. He frowned and moved a paw step forward before sitting back down, ears pulled back. There was no one to be upset with except himself. Next meeting… maybe… if he wasn’t in trouble because of this. What if he was thrown out because of this? The kit fell and crashed harshly from his cheerful mask around Skykit as he watched the apprentices.
“Windpaw! Maplepaw! Fernpaw! Sweetpaw! Plumpaw!” Patchkit called out but he wasn’t the loudest individual. He sighed, and waited to watch as the apprentice got up for his warrior ceremony. Patchkit didn’t know Vinepaw, like at all, but seeing any apprentice get named was interesting enough.
