Maggotkit blows an absent-minded raspberry, imagining what it must be like to have a tongue, but to not have it work. That means you can't taste blood or grass, and Maggotkit likes tasting grass when it finds some to chew on. Even if it always ends up getting sick after.

"How do you hunt and fight? Can you fight someone right now??" Maggotkit presses, raising a paw as if it's about to swing at Houndhop and thus declare that it will be the one to fight him...and then evidently thinking better of it. Maggotkit doesn't really care for fighting or for hunting, but since Houndhop is its new little fixation, it wants to know everything about him. He's like a story-hero, basically, and that's Maggotkit's jam.

“Heh. Fascinating to you, isn't it?" Houndhop chuckled, just seeing Maggotkit try to work everything out in it's tiny brain was enough to make the brown tom laugh his head off. Playfully swinging a paw towards the kit, Houndhop laughed happily, announcing “You're on!"

Small, skinny, black she-cat with a light gray belly and tail-tip, a mangled tail, a crooked jaw, and one blind eye.

Twistedpaw had known for a long time that what Willowsky, Flutteringkit, and the patrol had done was wrong. She'd known that their vile words and hateful claws did not define her, did not speak truthfully about who she was and how much she was worth. However, hearing Crowfeather affirm that made warmth bloom in her chest and a gentle, distorted purr rumble in her throat. And being called beautiful... She remembered Honeychatter saying the same thing, and her cheeks flushed. Honeychatter... I wonder where she went. Twistedpaw hadn't seen the pretty warrior around camp in a long while. StarClan, I hope they aren't gone, too...

However, her main focus was on Crowfeather. "Th-thanks," she stammered. "That... that really means a lot to me." At his question, she smiled. "I'd love to be friends, too. You're very kind." She paused for a moment. It didn't feel right for the conversation to end here. The shadows of the day had dissipated, making it happy and sunny again, but with a sweet touch of sentiment and pride. "How about you?" she asked. "Who are your parents? Do you have any siblings? Anything interesting you'd like to talk about?" She spent so long stuck in her own troubles, she realized, that she didn't know a lot about other cats. I really need to change that.

Crowfeather smiled at the fact she accepted his request then chuckled awkwardly at the questions.

 

“Um, my bio parents are dead. Killed by RiverClan warriors, who also tried drowning me. But i do have adoptive parents and a little sister.”

He said bitterly at first but then smiled softly at the thought of his family.

“Hey there, apprentices,” Stonetail said, his voice easygoing. “I’ve got some time to spare and wouldn’t mind showing you a few new battle moves if you’re interested. It’s always good to mix things up and sharpen your skills.”

Whiterabbit howls with mock-outage, backing off with a stifled laugh.

"Fiiine, fine fine, I retreat. Tactically. For now. That was just a warning scuffle, you." She sniffs, trying to look all imperious despite being unable to keep a grin off her face.

"Hey, did you eat yet? Or do you still have to earn it?" Cushy treatment is one thing she thinks she might miss once she's back to her proper duties, but it's about the only thing. Anyway, she's already had her meal but she'd like to know that Tinybunny's not starving.

Maggotkit's eyes go round and it tries its hardest to square up. It's not a very good playfighter by any means—has at least on one occassion brattily whined its way out of some standard kitten roughhousing because it felt too overwhelmed by a simple pounce—but it doesn't want Houndhop to find it...what? Not good? Sure. That could be it. Maggotkit wants Houndhop to think that it is a good kitten.

So, it commits to the strike it had gotten ready for! Maggotkit reaches up to try and sternly bap! the warrior's brown paw away, scruffy little tail lashing.
