Featherbreeze looked relieved. "Well, at least I can go see James again." She purred to herself. She left the den, then left the clan territory entirely.

Having not been in her den, and instead out in the territory patrolling, Stormstar trotted back into camp in time to see a cat padding up to her den and waiting outside of it. Duties never ended, it seemed... Rounding the stone pathway up to her den the leader cleared her throat as she came up behind Otternose. "Sure, come on in," the leader invited as she slipped past the warrior and into the cool den. The sand under paw felt nice after feeling the forested floors all morning long. "What's up?"
Otternose looked up as Stormstar padded up from behind her, saying she could enter before the leader entered her den. Otternose followed the RiverClan leader inside before sitting down in front of her. "Well, you know Ottersplash right? My sister? Well . . ." she didn't really know where to go with this. "Well, I don't want to have a name similar to hers, and I also find it a little dumb that our mother named us the same thing so . . . I'm requesting a name change if . . . that's possible . . ." She mewed softly.
Otternose didn't want to be linked back to her sister, so she was cutting off all connection she had with her, she didn't even consider Ottersplash to be her sister.

Good, no negativity from her leader. The grayscale feline seemed pretty neutral about the whole thing, and the lack of flat out hostility was a good enough sign to Goldfish. Fireglow. A good name. She watched the interaction thoughtfully. No questions were asked. Goldfish nodded thoughtfully, then flicked an ear- then turned her head- to face Ch- Fireglow. "Welcome to RiverClan." It almost felt too formal, honestly, but no worries Oh! Right, the tortoiseshell had something to talk about with Lioness. Not too important, but still. "Oh! Lioness. I wanted to talk to you about something privately, actually."

The golden bengal gave a small yawn and a stretch before making his way towards the leader’s den. It hadn’t been too long since he’d been in here last, but things have changed since then. Excitement ripples through his pelt as he stood outside the entrance to Stormstar’s den. ”Stormstar,” He called out, not wanting to intrude any ongoing conversations she may be having. ”I just wanted to discuss if there was any change in my duties?”’Now that I’m Head Lionheart?’ He didn’t dare add the last part out loud in fear of seeming too…pompous. He was proud, of course, but the twitching back and forth of his tail was all he could do to contain his excitement. ”If you have a moment, that is.”

´´Stormstar?´´ Rosehawk called into the den before her form cautiously made its way in. ´´I´m making a report.´´
Sitting back on her haunches, Rosehawk´s eyes narrowed to adjust to the gloom. ´´I took Cricketpaw out hunting at Lionsbeach and we found a dead rat. It was crowfood, rotten,´´ The Bengal explained, wrapping her tail around her paws. ´´We buried it. We didn´t touch it, we used a stick to push it into the hole. I didn´t want it luring any threats onto the territory.´´
´´I know you are more than capable of protecting yourself, but should you ever need me, touch this, and I will come for you.´´ - Grimshaw to Isla, Lightlark (Pg. 244)
"Stormstar?" The question echoed through the den. He hoped the leader was in there as he stepped forward, eyes taking a moment to adjust to the dark. He wanted to keep this short and sweet, take up as little of everyone's time as possible. "I'd like to be a part of the otter patrol. I believe my help could be an invaluable asset." The rest remained unsaid; he was sure they both knew what he was talking about. "If you have a group in mind, I understand. But please, keep me in mind, too." That was really it, honestly. The black and white tom had never sat down, remained standing from the moment he'd walked in. And now, he readied himself to exit, unless his leader wanted more from him.
Following Stormstar's departure to attend to the foxes, Wisteriawren lingered in place for longer than necessary, she'd admit, staring after the patrol that'd left camp. She couldn't help them. It frustrated her. Made her upset, made her feel... feel... tree sap, she was so utterly useless.
And that thought... that thought made her despair. She didn't want to be useless. Quite the opposite, in fact, she wanted to help RiverClan. Not just sit idly by, take up space and resources. She could help more. More than she was doing currently. So now Wisteriawren sat in front of her leader's den, nervously twiddling her thumbs as to speak, awaiting Stormstar's return.
She could wait as long as need be. This secret was long overdue; her friend more than deserved to know, and not speaking up just worsened the matter, making it seem as if she did not trust the cat she claimed to be her best friend enough with this.
