Hearing his name once again for patrols the young tom grew excited. Finally another day to get out of camp. First thing though was to find the two cats he was put with. "Sleepyhollow! Feathernose!", Wildpaw called with excitement.

[Drizzlecloud has called for herb patrols, and if you’ve been mentioned, you’ve been placed on one of them! If you do not wish to be put on a patrol, please vm me and request to be replaced within three days of the patrols being organized. (If you want to be replaced, let me know before September 29th.)

These patrols will be due by October 6th at 11:59 PM EST. If you need an extension, please let me know before then, however, you may ask for an extension up to three days after the due date (October 9th). If this is done, you may still be subject to very minor punishment (such as a scolding, as well as Drizzlecloud’s disappointment!).

Lack of communication whatsoever will result in a moderate punishment. Communication after the due date will result in a minor punishment. Communicating that you are not able to finish the patrol on time/asking for an extension will result in no punishments.

When it comes to replies, bumping someone after 48 hours with no response is acceptable, but after 72 hours you may skip their turn.

Patrol leaders, please remember to add your patrols to the patrol menu! If you do not know how, let me know, and I can add it for you.]

Alright, let’s get the ball rolling, shall we?

Patrol One: Borage & Extras
[Optional Prompt: sorry i cant think of anything ]

The Medicine den was pretty well stocked, but even so, it was always nice to have extras. Better to have lots than to have too little, right? Drizzlecloud’s tail twitched in a circular motion, as if she were whisking the air around her using her tail. “Fallowreed [ @Ladiebugg ]! Could I ask you to lead a patrol for me? Bring Bumblestar [ @dino. ] and Spiderpaw [ @umbreon_22 ] with you.”


She paused for a moment, waiting for the molly to get close before she continued with her explanation. “I want you to look for borage–think, purple flowers. The leaves are kind of.. Hairy! You should be able to find them easily by just wandering the territory. If you can find cobwebs, moss, sticks… Anything of the sort, bring some of those back for me too, would you?”


Patrol Two: Marigold & Extras
[Optional Prompt: no thoughts head empty i apologize ]

“Softsky [ @WinterMara ]!” Drizzlecloud called out, head tilted slightly to the side as she waited for the cat in question to make her appearance. “I would like for you to find me some marigold–pretty yellow flowers, they should be easy to find! If you have troubles, I’d be happy if you returned with some cobwebs and sturdy sticks.”

She flicked her tail, averting her gaze to scan over her clanmates. “You can take Rootbear [ @Demini ] and Cherrypaw [ @bubblegum. ] to Firefly Cove with you, too.”


Patrol Three: Yarrow & Extras
[Optional Prompt: i cant think of anythin ]

“Rainfall [ @Caspian ], some help, please!” Drizzlecloud was a bit tired now and she just wanted to send out this last patrol, now. “I’d like for you to find me some yarrow. They’re these white, flowering plants with.. Pointy-ish leaves! I’m pretty sure you can find these by water–try checking Cattail Pond.”

A pause–who else would she send on this patrol? Ah, some candidates. “I’d like for you to bring Sweetpaw [ @RedWidow ] and Spottedfire [ @Willooow ] with you. If you can't find any yarrow, please bring back some cobwebs!"

Sweetpaw bounded around her mentor, excited as always. "Where are we going? Can we hunt too? What does yarrow look like? Will this be helpful for my warrior training? Will..." she chattered like a starling.

Oh, there was one of them. Alderstep went over to his fellow warrior, glancing over his shoulder for the other. Softsky. He wasn't spotting her. Shame. "Softsky! Last call!" Alderstep frowned, then looked back over to Sparrowpelt. "She can catch up - lead the way?" he suggested tiredly.

He purred at Sweetpaw. “Calm down, little one. Or, old one?” he laughed winking. He proceeded to listen to her questions. “Sweetpaw, this will help your warrior training, it’s always good to know what an herb is. We’re going to Cattail pond.” he tried his best to answer her questions, but she had provided lots for him to reply to.

He decided to give her a mossball to play with in order to entertain her always-on brain

Sweetpaw purred back. "You're the old one." she head-butts him in the side affectionately. When her mentor tosses her the mossball her eyes light up and she pounces on it with a triumphant growl. She had been a kit less then two moons ago, after all.
