Leopardpaw grinned when she was adjusted correctly.
“Okay, cool!” She said, mostly to herself.
“How do we find the prey?” She asked.
Well, she knew smells and stuff, and she knew how most stuff smelled because of the prey pile, but what if they smell different when they’re alive?
“You’ll usually smell them first as you do keep a good feel of your surroundings make sure to keep an eye on the sky a raptors sometimes like to swoop down.Once you get a scent start to track as you get closer or if you see it try to get as close as possible without startling it then..POUNCE”.he said while smiling

Hmmmm okay, right yeah, the raptors are flying around.
Well, she's too awesome to get caught by one of those!
(Obviously she'll still keep a look out, though.)
She smelt something.
Her round ears perked up a bit as she scented a... a vole!
Leopardpaw bets she could catch it!
She glanced at Stonetail, before creeping toward her prey.
Okay, she's got this, she can do this, she can feed her clan!
Just close enough and...
Pounce!
It almost escapes her as she claws at it, but, using her claws, she pulls it right back towards her, before biting into it with her oversized fangs, killing it.
She quickly turned around to look at Stonetail, a vole now hanging from her jaws.
She had done good, right?
She had caught her first piece of prey!
Stonetail stayed a few tail lengths behind Leopardpaw making sure to give her space to hunt as he watched her he aww her spot prey he watched as she pounced “Nice catch..want to head back to camp..It’s getting late” he said while heading over to her

Leopardpaw nodded, putting the vole down for a moment "Thanks for teaching me!" She said cheerfully, picking the vole back up.
She followed Stonetail back.
Silverfur would follow him silently until they reached Sunset Grove. She would twitch her tail and hear the bees, they sounded rather active. She would pause in the same spot and glance up at the hive. "this isn't a punishment, cleaning out nests is a punishment. This is a way to get me injured or just fail a patrol" she would huff. She would twitch her whiskers, trying to formulate a plan. "I got a idea, you don't have to join but, just don't get too close" she would remark.
Watching the bees enter and leave before giving her paw a lick. "Well, I will tell you my plan, climb the tree. Jump on the hive away from where they are going in and out, and then snatch a bit of the honeycomb and run off with it" she would purr. "The bees won't know what is happening" she would purr getting up and starting to stretch. "That hive should take my weight, if not it's not too far from the ground" she would summarise before beginning to stretch her muscles getting ready.
When she was nice and warmed up she would fluff her fur up and start trying to climb the tree, she was a runner not a climber and her progress was rather slow. She would be getting some attention from the bees but nothing major, not yet anyway.
Batglare scoffed softly at her complaints. "I've heard Twilightstar already temporarily demoted you and assigned you apprentice chores for whatever trouble you caused, and then you continued to cause trouble with a Fury which got you this punishment." If the regular punishments weren't fixing the problem, they'd just get more creative until she started learning to behavior or Twilightstar got fed up and kicked her out of the clan.
At the mention of joining, Batglare simply stared at her. He wasn't going to help in the slightest, unless it was unavoidable. He was here to merely supervise, and maybe collect some cobwebs. He swore Crowtooth said something about grabbing them.
He did listen as she explained her idea, and he wasn't sure how well it'd work. She did know that honeycombs were inside the hive right? One did not just snatch honey out of the hive like it was nothing. If she jumps on the branch, she's just going to get agitated bees attacking her too. Honestly there was no way she wasn't going to get stung here. She was already padding off before he could add his thoughts. He supposed this would be like a learning lesson then.
While Silverfur played with the bees, Batglare got up and began looking around some bushes for webs.

having fun until she spotted batglare patrolling, she sniffed herself to see if
she smelt like the bush and not the nursery, She realized that she smelt like
milk. that was the first thing that got her close to being caught, then she looked
to see if she was in the bush all the way, nope her romp was out, maybe the
bush she picked wasn't the best hiding spots afterall. She was gonna get caught, and she knew it.
Then she saw him come closer to the bush. She started shaking because she
was scared of batglare. Then, she heard it, she was told to come out or she
would have to be pulled out. She started shaking with anxiety, not sure of what
to do, she had never been in this situation before, so she crawled out and
sat Infront of batglare, her eyes big, begging for forgiveness from batglare.
"I'm sorry Mr batglare. I was just watching leopardpaw train, I thought it
was cool." she said as she looked down at the ground, she had made a
mistake, and she knew it.
As soon as the kit popped out, Batglare bit back the urge to groan. Of course it was her. Batglare had heard about this one's antics around camp. It was hard not to when you go swearing and causing a fuss for no reason. Batglare eyes remained cold and unforgiving while staring down the kit.
"Hmm," He growled low in the back of his chest. "How many times have you been out here? Have you brought more kits out of camp?" This was would forever be labeled as a troublemaker in his head. They would be going to see Twilightstar about this.
Frogkit knew she was in trouble, but hopefully her good deed
the other day would get her out of trouble. "Um well I haven't
took any kits out here! But I have been out her the other day, I actually
found a big fat bird and killed it from what I know, I went to take it to the
fresh kill pile. But for starclan's sake please do not take me back to
twilightstar, I swear I have changed! I am already going to be an apprentice
at 7 moons instead of 6! Please please please!" she said with tears
falling down her face.
Batglare
Huh, well at least she's an honest troublemaker. The senior warrior's facial expression remains as stoic as ever as the kitten pleads with him. "You've been out of camp twice, Frogkit. If you didn't want to get into more trouble you should be following the rules not breaking them." He grumbled with a firm frown.
"Twilightstar will have to be informed as this is very dangerous. You are luck you didn't get eaten by something or hurt. We have rules in place for a reason." Batglare jerked his head to the side.
"Come on, move it. We have to go visit Twilightstar and then I'll drop you off at the nursery. I'll let her know that you were at least honest, she might cut you some slack for not lying to me."

| Lightningstorm | 19 Moons - WindClan Medicine Cat Flock Together [Tier 3] - Inactive | Mind Reader - Active | Dreamwalker - Inactive
"Right, here we are! Think we made good time even with the wait, didn't we?" Lightningstorm chirped happily, a glint in her eye as they approached the oddly tree filled portion of WindClan that seemed so out of place amongst the rest.
There was something serene about this place. Peaceful. Perhaps it was the very fact that it was so different to the rest of the clan's territory that made her feel so connected to the place. The one place that gave the cats the most variety of herbs - some not found anywhere else aside of borders - was the most at odds and displaced from the more predictable moors that encompassed her home. While there was no denying she was clan born, her wiry frame and lithe form too well suited for chasing rabbits down the fields to belong anywhere else, there was a certain distance between her and the clan that she had noticed in her time among them. She didn't know what had transpired before the incident that had somehow taken her memories, but it was clear there was a rift there, and she wasn't sure if she could mend it. If she wanted to mend it. A little voice in the back of her head warned her against it, too softly to be a nuisance, but just loud enough to make her wonder about that which she had lost to the unknown darkness between the stars.
A somberness fell upon her as her mind wandered, leaving the optimism she preferred to wrap around herself and delving into the uncharted territory of doubt that her self preservation disallowed entry to. As if by instinct, the calico shook herself, her skinny form barely ruffled as she moved. With a grin, she turned to her companion, remembering his previous question. She had decided to leave the herb description until they were closer to their goal. Why describe the physical attributes of the herb when she could show him instead? And she was quickly grateful she had waited, as well, noticing a small cluster of them spread across the grove's floor. Perhaps it was best not to have brought three cats. It might have been overkill for the plants. But between the two of them they could certainly grab a few and leave plenty of room for a couple of sticks each! Plus, she got to talk Rabbitpaw's ears off now about the fascinating medical properties of the celandine, too! It was much easier to bore one cat than to have two vote against her for a chance of topic, after all.
"Right, look there love. See those yellow flowers? The ones with only four petals on them? That's celandine! Useful little bloom it is. Unlike with most of the herbs I use, I have use for only the petals, right? Crush them and juice them, then drop the ointment into a cat's eyes. It won't stave off infection in the usual way, but if the eyes have been weakened or damaged in some way, best way to preserve them is with some of these precious flowers. Not a well known herb due to how little it's used I would think, but it's definitely one you want to have on you, innit?" she mewed, excitement clear in her every word as she shared her knowledge with the apprentice.
This wasn't usual for her. This ability to just gush about plants and useful little factoids like these. None of the other clan cats seemed particularly interested... well, with the exception of that one warrior who had lied to her face about her herbal knowledge in a bid to... impress her? A dangerous lie, too. What if Lightningstorm had believed her? Taken her in as an assistant and trusted her with someone's health just like that? What would that have done to the cat who needed help? They might have died... and it would have been her fault as the medicine cat in charge, for not having been more certain. For welcoming a cat willing to fabricate such fiction into her own den. And... speaking of her den...
"Which reminds me. Before we headed out, you said you wanted to talk about something? Were heading to my den, weren't you? Reckon we can talk about it here while we collect these if you like," the calico purred, tilting her head questioningly at the younger tom as she plucked three celandine from their stems, careful not to crush the petals in the process.
Rabbitpaw happily trotted after the herbalist, looking around at the environment as it changed into moorlands and then changing again as they approached the trees of the Grove. It was actually one of the first places that Rabbitpaw had ever been outside of camp, with Bravebird and Dovepaw for a lesson! It was super fun! Bravebird had let Rabbitpaw and Dovepaw run alllll the way there and then back. Rabbitpaw quite liked running, he likes the moors, though nowadays he appreciates the tunnels more and finds himself wishing he could go down more than he did. Though that didn't really matter now, silly thoughts, always side tracking down this way and that. The apprentice gave the herbalist a smile and a nod, "I think so! Though it's a bit sad that Mx Spiderdusk couldn't make it."
Though soon after replying the herbalist moved forward and the apprentice, still unsure if he should stop following and also unsure of what he would even search for, followed behind her closely. They came upon some yellow flowers, oh were those celandine? Or maybe some other herbs that are also important that Miss Lightningstorm spotted. Either way, Rabbitpaw eyed them curiously and maybe if he gave the herbalist time to speak he wouldn't need to think unvoiced questions. These were celandine. The apprentice was happy to learn about the herb and he wagged his tail and immediately his little brain twisted the information. He was a cat that has had how many lessons now after all! He just liked knowing things. "Ohhh! That's so cool! How did you figure that out? Well oh, on second thought your mentor probably taught you... how do you think the first cat to use it figured it out? Though also that's interesting, do you think there are other herbs that can help heal eyes out there that just haven't been found or tried?"
The tom voiced aloud as he looked about the flowers and then around at the trees and plants to see if he could spot anymore of them immediately in the foliage while staying by Miss Lightningstorm's side enough to continue the conversation. He looked up to her, green eyes shifting, oh right! The apprentice jumped up from his hunched down position and was reminded of what he was up to before the patrol! "So I heard that you know silent communication! Like talking without talking! And that sounded really cool, so I was coming to your den to see if you had the time to teach me? I think it would be really interesting and helpful to know...if you have the time that is! I don't want too be too much of a bother, I know how busy you can get and how you like alone time." He finished, he totally gets it if the other was busy or simply didn't want to. Sometimes Rabbitpaw could be a lot and he knew that Miss Lightningstorm liked being alone and from what he could gather he didn't really blame her. He's taken notice of how she's been happier lately and that has made Rabbitpaw happy as well. He figured it was probably because of her kits! The blonde wagged his tail in delight and watched the herbalist with wide excited eyes as he awaited her response.
While Batglare was dealing with frogkit, Silverfur was having a really fun time, her slow progress up the tree was muddled by a series of setbacks, one being her batting a particularly nosey bee that resulted in a sting to her paw. Finally she had climbed up to the branch where the beehive was on and glanced at it, it was active and she didn't exactly blend into the dark bark of the tree. Her silver fur puffed out was a oddity in this environment and the bees were curious. Too curious.
She used her natural windclan speed to her advantage and moved at pace across the fairly straight branch until she was directly above it, the bees tolerated this up until the point she began to scratch at the top of the hive. Then they got very angry, very quickly. Swarming around her, her thick fur was effective for keeping them out, but that was up util they found skin elsewhere like her tail and ears.
She managed to dislodge the hive with only a handful of stings acquired before it fell to the ground below. Luckily for her that meant most of the bees had dropped down by many tail lengths, unluckily for her companions they would be close to a beehive with some grumpy residents.
"Batglare, Grab some honeycomb and run back to camp, I'll come down and collect some before following" she would call down to him, trying to make her way down the tree faster now that she had a group of bees swarming around herself.
