The silence was annoying and pervasive, but he had ended the conversation and it would be dumb and seem desperate if he tried anything, so he just decided to distract himself with work.

Silverkit did the same, going faster than had been going before the conversation. He knew that what he was doing was right and he had convinced the warrior, so why did he feel so bad? Silverkit shook it off, but he still didn't feel too great.

Wolfsong looked around as she and Moonfrost followed the others to where the shells were being gathered. Wolfsong flicked her tail against her sister's shoulder, then flicked an ear towards a large leafed plant.
"Come on Moonfrost, I have an idea," the silver she-cat mewed as she padded over to the plant. She carefully started gnawing at the stem of a large leaf, and Moonfrost smirked as she understood. The dusky tabby helped Wolfsong detach the leaf from the plant, and together they dragged it over to the shells.
Wolfsong quickly drew a paw over her ear and started to pick up shells and place them onto the leaf, Moonfrost quickly following suit.
