The younger warrior’s outburst took Toadpounce by surprise as he tried to focus on Fawnpaw. He blinked flinchingly as Firehawk described his trauma with a dog attack, dredging up his own that had resulted in Wolfgang’s death and his own limp. It was growing to be too much for the spotted tom, everything was becoming overwhelming. He hadn’t wanted to trigger Firehawk into an argument; his mind went into a spiral of trying to figure out where he went wrong, what had he said? He was used to being the outcast, he was used to being made painfully aware that his responses weren’t generally accepted, but he didn’t ever know what he did wrong exactly.

An instant sense of gratitude washed through him as Fawnpaw’s voice broke the tension building inside him. He turned his eyes on her then parted his lips to draw the scent over his tongue. The familiar scents of Windclan were the most prevalent, followed more faintly with Thunderclan scent, there was a stale scent of loner, likely long since passed through which didn’t surprise Toadpounce after hearing the issues Thunderclan had had with rogues at the last couple gatherings. But then Firehawk was going on again about bloody battles. Toadpounce’s pelt crawled uncomfortably, a sense of dread overcoming him. If there was any form of intruder Toadpounce was quickly losing hope of getting out of any of it without it turning into a battle, regardless of the I truder’s intentions. ”Well, I don’t…there’s no need to get…I think it’s just…stale.” He looked to Fawnpaw, “There’s fairly strong Thunderclan scent.” He trotted towards a fairly stale Thunderclan scent marker, flicking his tail for Fawnpaw, ”Is, uh, is this kinda the scent you were smelling or were you picking up something else. There is, I got some stale loner scent. It’s the cat smell but it’s distinctly different than clan scents, but the loner scent I smell is quite stale, meaning it’s rather old and the loner is likely long gone.”

He heard Fawnpaw, and smelled the air, a scent, something was wrong with it, it smelled like a cat, but it was not a cat, a rogue or a loner maybe? Or something worst... "I think we need to investigate, this smell is on our territory, but be careful, if it's hostile, be ready to defend yourself, also, just try to get him off our territory", he slowly advanced to investigate the smell, and turned back "Remember, it is a patrol, not a extermination mission, we will fight if needed, but drive it out of our territory"

"I'm not sure, it definitely cat, and it smells a bit like ThunderClan but not quite..." She said with an unsure look on her face, "I-I'm sure it's nothing, it seems somewhat stale anyways, at least I think. About two days is stale right?" She asked taking another wiff.

"Hmmm, maybe a banned cat? Anyway, what is happening in the Thunder Clan is not our problems, I will report the passage of the stranger to the clan when we will be back, just in case, I propose to mark these two trees and to return back to the camp for a report", he turned to face the two cats, "You both did a great job, I will not report the error at the start of this patrol, because I think it is my fault, I didn't joined you immediately..." he advanced and marked one of the trees, and leaved the other tree to the two others...

The spotted tom watched Firehawk uncertainly. His mood seemed to have shifted but he wasn't sure what to expect from the tom. After giving his dismissal of the loner scent and getting on to finishing the marking, Toadpounce nodded and padded haltingly to the other tree to mark it quickly before following Firehawk back towards the camp, turning to keep an eye on Fawnpaw to ensure she was keeping up.

The brown apprentice kept checking behind her while at the same time trying to keep up, she ended up running straight into Firehawk. "Umph! Oh, sorry Firehawk!" She said shaking herself off.

she walks along the border, trying to get her mind off of something... she was just enjoying a walk until-

She pounced on willowgaze. "Why are you so close to Thunderclan, Huh?!"

(OPEN! I'm trying to find willowgaze a cross-clan relationship and __ cat can scream at sleekers to get off of her. uh, I want willow to have half-clan kits-)

He felt something crashing in him, he turned and barely smiled when he saw the apprentice shaking herself while saying sorry, he responded "It's alright, don't worry...", he then continue to advance toward the camp....

Foxtail walked out close to the WindClan border, tired after the long day of work. He stalked close to the border until his nose caught a whiff of a mouse nearby. He knew going home empty handed wasn’t an option as the other cats would question where he’d been. As he pounced on the mouse, he saw a glimpse of golden fur poking out from a bush.

Honey'Freckle peacefully existed, until she smelled somecat. She not-so-peacefully went up to the border and faced the cat. "I hope you didn't catch that on our territory?" Maybe I can prove myself here!..No, that won't happen...
