Cindersky used to be ThunderClan's leader…huh, fun! Truthfully, the young apprentice saw super-cool Aunty Bumble as the forever-leader of ThunderClan. She just did suchhh a good job! Of course that’d be expected of a leader but she seemed damn good and on top of things. Her and SpiderDad, that is. As the leader shared they were close, FireflyPaws gaze softened slightly. “I’m-…sorry.” simple, not too emotional but not emotionless either. Death and depression stuff made her uncomfy. It was a subject she never understood or had a grasp on so…yeah. It was touchy for some though, she knew to tread lightly.

Ah- back to training! Yay! FireflyPaw nodded eagerly to the leader, her paws dancing under her. “Yes please!” she grinned.

Burnedbark padded up to the start of the Firefly Cove, following closely behind Mothflame. Orange and white flower. Frilly leaves. Shouldn't be too hard.

Good. Burnedbark was right on time, just like how she's liked it to be. With a nod and a flick of her tail, she led the warrior out of camp and towards Firefly Cove.

Once the two warriors were there, Mothflame was straight to business. She'd been sent on a patrol for marigold before, it wouldn't be big of a problem. Though with the snow-covered ground and dead plants, it didn't take long for Mothflame to find the familiar orange flower, the herbs growing in healthy shrubs despite the harsh weather. Leaning down, the rosetted she-cat nipped at the stalks of the flowers, and turned to Burnedbark to see how he was faring with the searching.

Mothflame wasted no time at all. Good, he liked that. He rather admired the warrior he was coming to find out. Spotting the flowers should be as easy as spotting Mothflame's pelt against the snow and dead undergrowth, so he set out to search.

Sure enough, he found some flowers in no time at all. His ear twitched thoughtfully. He hadn't found an exorbitantly large gathering of the flowers. So he decided to only take two flowers from the plant, leaving it plenty to still keep it growing. Before moving on to try and find more. Determined to take back as much as he could carry.

He found another patch of marigold rather quickly. He took an additional three stems with flowers from this one before turning to make his way back to where he had left Mothflame.

“Yes. I.. love hunting..” they remarked happily.

“Only because you’re so good at it!” Ashpaw added enviously, while Nettlepaw snickered quietly in response.

The green-eyed apprentice looked around for a moment after settling, “There’s.. so many.. flowers here.. They’re.. lovely.”

MidnightRose nodded. "You can bring some flowers back to give. We'll do that last though." She told them. "So, let's see how good you are at hunting. I'll hunt with ya too."

”Alright!” they replied. Ashpaw grinned and quickly went off, before scenting a mouse and getting into.. a decent hunting crouch, albeit their tail kept drifting upwards as their gaze followed the juicy prey.

Ashpaw followed the mouse for a few paces, their shadow weaving through the harsh dark silhouettes of the foliage reflecting onto the ground as they bunched their few muscles in preparation to pounce.

Barely reaching the mouse when pouncing, they swiftly delivered a killing bite to its neck before holding it in their mouth proudly. It wasn’t much, but.. they had done it. They had caught something! Wow, this was a moment.

“Nettlepaw, cmere! I caught a thing!” Ashpaw called to their sibling excitedly, presenting their catch cheerfully.

Nettlepaw nodded to Midnightrose before looking to Ashpaw to watch their hunting. It was.. notable, to say the most. It wasn’t perfect, but it was alright for a first-timer. They approached their sibling once they presented their catch.
“Great.. job.. Ashpaw.” Nettlepaw mewed kindly to Ashpaw with a slight smile. Shortly after, they beckoned for the copper-eyed cat to watch them hunt, whom quickly obliged.

Nettlepaw swiftly scented a small rabbit — this would be a challenge. The apprentice could tell they would have to put quite a lot of effort into catching this creature, as from its long legs and quick movements Nettlepaw could tell it would be fast.

Nettlepaw crouched down and skillfully tracked the prey, making sure to place their steps lightly as to not disturb any undergrowth which would spook the rabbit. Eventually, they reached a distance from the creature that seemed reasonable enough to leap from.

Before the rabbit knew it, Nettlepaw had clamped their jaws on its neck, making the killing bite. Picking up the fresh-kill, they happily presented their catch to Ashpaw and Midnightrose.

“I.. did it..”

Ashpaw was shocked, but tried to play it off cool as they approached their sibling, smiling;
“That was awesome, Nettle. Well done, really.” they congratulated Nettlepaw ecstatically.

"Perfect. You will be wonderful warriors." MidnightRose purred. A mouse and a rabbit. "Burry those. We'll look for more."

She pu her nose in the air and sniffed. Hm. A sparrow. Probably on the ground. She got into a hunting crouch and stalked it. The Bird came into view, it's beak in the ground trying to get a worm. And a worm it did get. Little did it know that was the last worm they would see.

Ashpaw nodded, swiftly burying the mouse, before going off to search for more prey. Quickly, they scented a sparrow, and crouched down, creeping forward.

Ashpaw trod carefully as they approached the bird, before quickly pouncing.

They gave the sparrow a killing bite on the neck, before lifting it up to see if Nettlepaw had caught anything yet. They were still somewhat astonished that they had caught a rabbit, but pushed it aside for now. When the siblings got back, Ashpaw would defintiely be making a big deal of it to Dandelionmane.

Nettlepaw nodded to Midnightrose before burying their rabbit and padding off to find some more prey. An animal’s scent pierced their nostrils — a grouse! Crouching down to track the bird, they quickly spotted where it actually was.

Creeping slowly towards the grouse, Nettlepaw tried to keep their pawsteps light, however since their last catch they paid less attention on themself and more on the prey. Quickly, they lunged towards the bird.

Nettlepaw caught the grouse successfully, delivering a killing bite swiftly. Raising their head, they looked towards Ashpaw, before facing Midnightrose once more to see if they would get to collect their flowers now.
