Rosepaw let out a purr. "It's okay!" she reassured the kit. "I know that it might be hard. However, you know how deformed she is." Gently, she bent down and gave the kit's head a comforting lick. "Now, would you like to go outside?" she asked. "Maybe get a bite to eat or something like that?"

(Maybe Goldkit, like, runs into Twistedpaw while Rosepaw gets a piece of prey for them to share? It would be interesting to see how Goldkit would react.)

(Rosepaw is just getting a new mentor now. It's going to be at least another month, so... sorry, Rosepaw wouldn't be able to become her mentor. Also, by the time she becomes a warrior, I'm part of another plot... to be another person's mentor... so, sorry. Anyway, I can make a different post in the clearing to start it off.)

Rosepaw gave a small smile. "I'm sorry, Goldkit, but I am unable to be your mentor," she admitted. "I still have a bit over a moon as an apprentice. However, we could train together!" She gave a happy smile.

Rosepaw walked with the kit across the clearing. In the distance, she saw Twistedpaw; however, she decided to ignore the ugly she-cat. Pausing, she meowed to Goldkit, "I'm going to go look for something good to eat! Maybe a bird; they're soft and my favorite. As long as you're okay with that. You can wait here!" she called over her shoulder, trotting off.

Twistedpaw saw the kit and took a couple of uncertain paw steps forward. She was nervous; had Rosepaw done something? The beautiful she-cat was heading away. Padding forward, she stopped in front of the kit. "Hello," she meowed, trying to sound confident. Her voice was distorted and, despite tensing up her jaw, her mouth still moved in a weird, somewhat disturbing way.

Twistedpaw blinked, noticing the kit's hesitance. She didn't want to scare her. Glancing away, she meowed, "Well... I... I'm Twistedpaw," she meowed. "And... you're Goldkit, right?" Hesitating, she added, "A friend of Rosepaw?"
