Heathernose Heathernose was glad to see that Nightshade seemed more calm now. "I was just assigned my first apprentice recently." She meowed. "The special challenge is that I'm taking over for the previous mentor. So that's a bit nerve-wracking...but I'm sure every apprentice-mentor relationship has it's own set of challenges." She hadn't meant to babble on as she did, and licked her chest in embarrassment. She could hear her apprentice's voice in the clearing, but didn't feel quite ready to take her out for training just yet. Being the young warrior that she was, she knew she had a lot to prove and work out. But she was quite content sitting here chatting casually with Nightshade rather than having to watch her pawsteps with her apprentice. I should probably let her have fun with her friends for a bit anyway...right? She couldn't restrain a sigh. I just wish I knew if I was doing the right thing or not...
