Okay, now Lambdream was marking the border. Hazelstorm was pleased to see that. Hopefully, Sparrowskip hadn't gone too far, and they could possibly catch up to him.
When the tom was done, Hazelstorm turned tail, beginning to pad into the trees towards camp. She paused, glancing over her shoulder. "Okay, now that you're done, let's go, let's go!"
She resumed walking, heading straight into the trees, in the direction of the camp.

"Silverspot?" Horsetail called, "Are you around here?" Horsetail wandered aimlessly in search of his mate, Silverspot. "Are you okay?" He sprinted down a small hill, his long golden fur full of mud.

Where is she? He though panicking, Oh no oh no, he thought.

He stood at the top of a rock, as his long tail swished in the wind, and his muscles relaxed for a moment.

Silverspot sighed. Didn't toms understand anything. She turned to leave and paused. "Tell Horsetail to take care of Spottedkit. And tell them both I love them very much" She felt her voice crack. Then she left.

"Silverspot, what's happening?" Horsetail scowled, "Is everyone okay?" Horsetail wrapped his tail around Silverspot instinctively. His pelt covered in mud, it didn't look golden anymore.

Silverspot looked at Horsetail sadly. "Take care of Spottedkit for me ok?" she thought her heart would break. "Take care of yourself too Horsetail. I am leaving Riverclan.

"Silverspot, don't!" he cried, "I love you...please," he admitted. "Spottedkit needs you." Horsetail ran towards her, "Please," he meowed, his eyes filling with tears, he blinked as a tear fell.

Silverspot looked at him sadly and fondly. "I love you too, my love. And trust me, I cannot stay in a place of torment. I must go back to my old life as a rogue. I have a den ready. My old one" She knew she would miss her mate and adopted kit. But she could not stay in Riverclan.

Horsetail looked at Silverspot, his face had no emotion, none, it was eerie in a way. "Silverspot?" he asked quietly, "Why..." he voice cracked, yet his face continued to have no emotion.

Horsetail's mind raced as Silverspot looked at him, "It's my fault," he thought

He looked away, and then looked at her again, his eyes filled with tears his face hot. For the first time since he was a kit he was about to cry.
