Maggotkit's tail droops, eyes narrowing peevishly. It had really hoped Houndhop would eat the bug...gah. Warriors are so hard to make act right. First Silverfur, now Houndhop. Maggotkit steps close to sniff the thoroughly-crushed grasshopper before giving the still body a few good taps with one small white paw.
"Okay there. He died." Maggotkit announces, satisfied. Since the important thing was killing the grasshopper, and the grasshopper's very dead now, Maggotkit wouldn't get caught up on the particulars. "Better," it agrees, looking up at Houndhop.
Maggotkit is still for a moment just to scrutinize the warrior, glassy yellow eyes focused and intent. It picks its front paws off the ground, haphazardly balancing back on its haunches, and suddenly began trying to paw at Houndhop's face and ears. None of these blows would be particularly harmful if any of them landed, only a nuisance.
"More grasshoppers!" Ah—it seems those aren't supposed to be Maggotkit's paws at all. They're grasshoppers, now.

(Well done, you have a dad figure now /hj)
[Center] Houndhop rolled his eyes at it. “Awww, poor little grasshopper. Sadly crushed." he mewed sarcastically. Seeing Maggotkit's eyes, Houndhop pondered for a second before getting hit with a flurry of blows. Joking, he lifted one of it's paws up, pretending to eat it. “Mhm-mhm, scrumptious!"

Re: WindClan Clearing
Loudwhisker looked at the horizon, wondering what would happen if the colors were to blur together. It was a stupid thought in the moment, but she really was wondering. Colors together were an oddity in itself. Colors she didn't typically see together. Orange with pink, blue with red. It made her feel, somehow, at ease.
Back legs stretching the young blind molly moved out into the clearing. It was a nice day, so she didn't want to waste it away. Maybe she could convince someone to take her out. It was getting boring here in camp. She felt like she wasn't doing anything to help her clan. Would they toss her out if she didn't do anything? Would she never be a warrior if she couldn't even get one single bit of training? What if she stayed untaught forever?
Barleypaw couldn't help but feel upset. She didn't want to be thrown out. She wanted to make it as a warrior. She had to do something. Today was the day she took things into her own paws. Scenting around she attempted to see if she can find a warrior who just might take her out. Catching scent of one she made her move. The usually quiet cat couldn't keep quiet no more.
"Hey? Do you mind if...if.", she started, but froze/ What if they said no? Would this all be a waste of time? She fought the thoughts away. She just had to try. "I haven't gotten any hunting training and I feel that I'm not contributing to the clan. Could you take me out? You don't have to.", Barleypaw meowed. Hope was in her voice. She really wanted to do something.

Dreamlight
She was back at it again, the scarred feline was taking tentative steps around the clearing. Today, she was trying to familiarize herself with the way the nursery and the elders' den. She had gotten used to the strange sense of being unbalanced in the dark a while ago. Her steps were more confident and sure and she was getting better at using her nose.
Consistent darkness was a never-ending battle. There were nights Dreamlight dreamed in such vivid detail that when she woke she was confused, forgetting for a fraction of a second that her sight was gone. For the minutes that followed she felt the grief all over, the loss of things she never even considered missing. She'd never been one to dwell on flowers, the shape of a tree, or passing clouds. Oh, how she had taken her sight for granted.
But there was no point in dwelling on something she couldn't change. Back to her training. She's discovered that so long as cats weren't walking at her, she could pinpoint their locations by their scents which was easier than trying to lock on to their paw steps. She was getting better at locking in names and scents, faces were more of a blur to her these days. She'd tried to recall exactly how a cat looked and get their features mixed up with someone else's.
She was sure she'd forget exactly what Twilightstar and Leechscar looked like in due time. She had been doing her darndest to remember Ashfeather's exact features but hadn't been spending as much time with Twistedpaw as she would have if she was feeling up to it. But mixing Dreamlight's frequent depression with Twistedpaw's anxieties was a mess waiting to happen.
The lilac-gray she-cat must have been very lost in thought cause her nose bumped into something solid but furry. She jerked back as if bitten and pinned her ears back. "Sorry sorry," she repeated anxiously. "I wasn't paying attention."
Maybe she should avoid the nursery for now. One of the queens would claw her ears if she accidentally stepped on their kits. Dreamlight was rather petite herself with some extra fluff but she could still do some damage to a poor kit.

One paw on front of the other. Over and over. One damn paw after the Star-damned other. Keep doing that. You'll be fine. Give your paws something to do and focus on that.
Don't think about Stempaw, don't. We're gonna be just fine. One step at a time, pace. One breathe at a time, too. Keep yourself calm. Don't think about being a warrior- a cat's nose bumped into his rips, shocking him out of his pacing trance. Whisperinghive whirled around to face the cat, ready to hiss and snap an insult at them, but he bit his tongue when he saw who it was. Dreamlight!
"Dreamlight? Hey, no, no, no, it's alright!" The tom started, wondering if he hurt the molly when she bumped into him. Wait- why would that hurt her? It was a little bump. Gosh, Whisperinghive. She's not a damn flower. "I was pacing, so I didn't see you. Whisperinghive said, sitting down with his tail curled over his paws. "It's Whisperinghive, and it's great to see you again!" He said, smiling warmly. Dreamlight was a nice cat from what Whisperinghive had seen, and one of the few cats he actually wanted to talk to!! His marigold-orange fur bristled slightly with excitment. "I can find us somewhere to sit if you want?" He offered. Stars dammit. He sounded like a kit begging for attention from a queen, didn't he?
♡Opossumbug was sitting down on a log until he heard a little voice ask him to take them to go hunting because they didn't have an hunting training. He stopped what he was doing and turned around. He spotted the young molly, barleypaw. He could tell that she was blind by the grey in her eyes, he had never trained a young blind apprentice, so this was going to be a fun time for sure. "Of course barleypaw! We can go hunting, do you know how to hunt? I am just asking." he said in a soft tone as he looked down at the young molly.
Willowpaw grabbed a small mouse off the fresh kill pile, and headed back towards the nursery.
