Aspenblaze knew he was late to the patrol. He made his way up to Eggpaw quickly, his long legs skidded to a halt abruptly when he approached. “Sorry I’m late Eggpaw,” he grunted with a sharp exhale, trying to catch his breath.

Sprinting back into camp, they despise the sticky feeling of honey as it begins to run down their maw. Uncomfortable. The faster he got rid of the comb, the better. Dropping it off within the herb storage, the warrior makes his way back to Elmshadow to report, panting and still aching from the stings from angry bees.
"I wasn't sure how else to bring back honey so I just... I brought back a whole piece. H-Hopefully it's enough, I'm sorry I couldn't do more." Pathetic. Stupid, useless, annoying... "No one showed up to accompany me so I just... I went out alone. I'm sorry."

Hearing his name all to late, the tom finally pushed his way from the nursery. Padding into the clearing he faintly remembered the instructions and glanced around for his patrolmate(s). He saw Snowecho... But he was already returning. Damn it. This wasn't good. Giving one last look around for his companion, Nightwren shook his head. "Batwing. I'm leaving without you." he called, voice as dry as ever. Eyes scanning for the cat one last time, he sighed then walked out of camp.
(You can have Bat meet Wren at Icyheartlands if u you want!)

Padding through the entrance, Nightwren beelined towards the healing den. Dropping whatever he had in his jaws, he then peeled the sticky webs from his dark fur. Satisfied with his work, he exited the area. Stepping into the clearing, he gave a stiff tail wave towards the intimidating medicine cat. " I would apologize for being late, but I'm sure I made it back in a somewhat timely manner." he began in a stale tone. " I collected as much as I could and left it in your den. Batwing wasn't around, so I left without them... I assume they're alright, but I'm just letting you know."

Hearing her name being called from across the clearing, Darkcloud immediately focused her attention on the orders that Vulturefang had started saying. Hmm border patrol. One of her favourites. Well time to get to work.
Swiftly padding over near where the orders had been given, the dark she-cat searched the clearing with sharp amber eyes for the pelt of Batflight, a cat she wasn't familiar with. Hopefully they'd be sensible and mature...but she had a curse of being plagued with misfortune (not literally lol.)
