Primrosepaw was giving herself a quick grooming whenever Wildfoxglove entered the den. Her emerald hues met the stare of the warrior, and she waved her tail in greeting. ´´Hello, Wildfoxglove.´´

Talonpaw jolts up at Stormstar's call, the fur along his spine spiking as panic flashes through his eyes. He calms himself just as fast, quickly realizing that she's only summoning him and Lionpaw for training. They're not being invaded, he's not being ignored, and he's not freezing to death—no, he can't go there. "I'm ready," he says, allowing the fur to fall flat on his back as he pads to the entrance to meet up with Stormstar and Lionpaw.

Nightpaw sat in the back of the apprentice den, keeping away from the other apprentice, still quite embarrassed at his rank. Of course, it was his fault for his demotion many moons ago, if he had only reported for those patrols he had done. The tom shook his head, laying it down at the edge of his nest.
