Forcing a smile back to her face, she nodded in welcome to the queen. ''Nice to meet you-''

Briarpaw jerked back, looking at her father, appalled. What?!

Snowkit paused at the entrance and collapsed into a bought of coughs. she felt burning hot despite the windy weather. coughing violently, she collapsed onto the nursery floor and looked at her mother for help. @Toodle

Robinkit stared at the other kit, frowning at them. He padded over to the kit and whispered "Hey, are you okay?" @Poppy'song

Goldenstep gasped as she watched Snowkit fall in a tiny white heap. Coughs racked her little body. Goldenstep bounded the couple paces to her kit's side. She absently muttered to Robinkit, "She'll be okay. We'll get her rested up and she'llbe okay." Goldenstep wasn't sure whether the reassurance was more for the concerned kit or for herself. She gently lifted Snowkit and carried her to the nest, laying her down and making her comfortable. She backed away slightly and internally fretted. She'd have to go get Bouncepaw. She tried to reassure herself that she was simply being an anxious first-time queen but then if she bothered Bouncepaw over nothing then she'd finally be seen but for the wrong reasons. She sighed. No, she'd have to get Bouncepaw. If it turned out to be nothing then she'd take the heat, but she couldn't shake the inking feeling that it could be worse. She curled into the nest around her kit to coax her to sleep, then she'd retrieve Bouncepaw.

The small kit was absolutely bored and wanted something to do. It was boring in here and she wanted to go off and find something fun. Yellowkit was about ready to get up from her nest, but she plopped right back down. Nah she was just going to stay right here.

Today was one shock after another, it seems. A new mate? Dad's new mate?! A step-mother!? Her eyes widened, not that impressive of an expression but, given her composed nature, it was definitely out of the norm. She looked at everyone, almost tiredly, giving her dad an accusatory glance. Dud he not remember how it ended last time??? Well, he did say he never loved her (something that still irked Sharppaw) but was this different? She looked at the she-cat with mistrust. She didn't like this. It seemed like he'd just made the same mistake twice. Or, perhaps, the she-cat had made the same mistake as her mother...

Robinkit frowned when he saw the queen's distressed expression. "Snowkit will be okay, I'm sure of it!" He chirped as he pressed against the queen.

Toadkit | She/They | 4 Moons

Toadkit had already seen this 'new mate' of her fathers when she'd been forced to return to the nursery. They hadn't spoken, but Toadkit had seen her talk to Frogfang.

Narrowing their eyes as they glanced in the direction of Sharptooth, they instead padded over to their other siblings. She had seen Lilypaw since she'd returned to camp, but she hadn't fought up the courage to speak to her other siblings yet.

She had spent most of her time in the nursery, avoiding other cats so this party they seemed to be having was making her anxious. They didn't want to stand by their father, he was being all lovey-dovey with that new cat, and she wasn't quite sure how she felt about that.

Instead she sat directly by Lilypaw, casting a curious glance at Sharppaw and Briarpaw, she wasn't quite sure how to interact with her siblings if they were being honest.

Feeling a bit down she gets up trotting back inside the nursery den. After meeting the kit's she sighed, they didn't seem to be pleased about her being Frogfang's mate. Laying down on a soft moss bed, she curls her body up and sleeps.
