Wildstorm raised a brow at the apprentice's first guess. Did he forget he was in ShadowClan? Well, either way. She was going to count the guess for WindClan and just...not address the first one. "Keep your head high when you make a guess!" She instructed, tapping her tail-tip to the young tom's chest. "Even if you think you might be wrong, you must not lose confidence. State your words with heart. Always." Her eyes narrowed slightly at her last word. But not in a cold way. This was...believe it or not her way of being encouraging.

"In this case, your guess was wrong. This is our border with ThunderClan." She mewed, though there was no disappointment in her tone or expression when she said he got it wrong, it was a simple statement of fact. "Those squirrels have been...squirrelier than usual. So we'll need to be careful with this border." She instructed. "I'll show you how to mark a border, but don't over do it. Other clans can interpret that as a declaration of war." Not that she'd really have a personal problem with that...but Dawnstar probably would. Wildstorm stepped up to the border, showing Winterberrypaw how to mark a spot before moving along the border and marking it again. "You try." She mewed, flicking her tail at her apprentice.

Wildstorm raised a brow at the -paw, but ultimately gave him a nod of approval. Did she say something funny? “Glad to hear it. There’s no shame in being wrong, it’s how we learn.” And speaking of. Wildstorm twitched an ear. “Now, try marking the border.” She instructed, nodding her head towards the border encouragingly. “Like I showed ya.”
