ravenkit— he/they— name negotiable. cutest berry ones already claimed...

ravenkit is a medium-built, mostly black cat with deep russet present around the chest, stomach, and paws. their fur is largely medium-length, but their ears are notably tufted and their tail and neck are particularly fluffy. their pale blue eyes are prone to cataracts.

ravenkit's most striking trait is his deep-seated superstition. even at an early age, his pattern-seeking tendencies can bring him occasional anxiety. he searches for tiny signs in everything, but don't let that description fool you- his foresight is quite poor and his conclusions are completely unreasonable an overwhelming majority of the time. he is not quite obsessive-compulsive in his rumination- it's mostly a minor inconvenience, but hesitance to perform certain actions or go certain places due to worry may cause him trouble in the future. however, on the rare occasion that he is correct in a bad feeling, his superstition and sharp sense of danger could save him.

mild neuroticism aside, his wide stare and often-stiff posture may be found somewhat offputting by others. on the other hand, he is well-put-together in most other aspects. he is not particularly shy or extroverted, but he may be somewhat unpleasant before learning social skills as he would really like to warn everyone about their impending doom.

they could potentially be given agatha kitty and/or chill of death once they are older and have more developed intuition- i imagine that while aging, they either would end up extremely reliable or entirely deluded. (i hope the first one! ...or do i)
