She tilted her head "Strange- We don't get company here often" She murmured softly, looking around the den for some kind of task to do. She always felt the need to be doing something, especially since being exiled.

She was a tad disappointed she missed out on the opportunity to meet someone new, but was glad that the stranger at least had seemed nice and caused no harm. She found her gaze drifting back to Fritz.

After spending day after day with him she'd found herself growing more and more fond of him. She'd get butterflies when they were alone, and she found herself feeling safer with him than she had with any cat. She wasn't entirely sure where they stood relationship wise. They'd never really delved into talking about emotions.

Should she? Did she like him like that? Maybe? If she did, did he return said feelings? and if so... where did they go from that. She could feel the uncomfortable silence setting in between them

"Uh- Hey... Fritz..." She paused, was she ready to say anything? It'd only been about two weeks since they'd met, but in those two weeks they'd spent every waking moment together "Have... you ever thought about your future?" That wasn't the question she wanted to ask, but the only one she had the guts to.

Fritz lit up at the question. It was finally his chance to hunt at it. "I dunno, I want to settle down sometime." Boom. There. If she didn't reciprocate, he could say it was with anyone. @seeingstars

The small she-cat felt her heart flutter, his response was vague at best, but it gave her hope. She took a deep breath, nodding in response "I always saw myself growing old with a mate and kits in Thunderclan... I suppose that things changed- but I'd still like a family" She admitted, shooting Fritz the occasional shy glance, trying to gauge his reaction.

Oh, she felt the same. Alright, what does one do in this situation? Housefolk help him. "Oh-I mean, that makes sense. I... Wouldn't mind settling down... With you." Fritz grit his teeth. He's so stupid. Out of the act, what was he thinking?! @seeingstars

She blinked, taking a moment to process exactly what he was saying. Her face heated up as she shot a flustered glance at his paws before returning to meet his gaze "Are... you asking me to be your mate?" she asked, tilting her head.

She felt her chest begin to flutter as she waited for his answer. She felt nauseous, but in a good way? sort of? She hoped it was good. She'd only spent about half a moon with this tom but admittedly, she found herself smitten.

Flutterflame took a deep breath, her tail tip twitching behind her.

Hah! You idiot! She's going to laugh in your face! Fritz felt his ears heat up, he just stared at Flutterflame for a solid twenty seconds, debating backpedaling the whole thing. SPEAK! "Y-Yeah. I mean... If you want to." @seeingstars
