Cougarbite shuffled a little to the left, giving some distance between him and his clanmate. He then started to search the area for frogs or lizards. He spotted a lizard, and started to approach it, slamming his paw down on its tail when he was in range and trapping it. He easily killed it, cleanly, and put it aside, to pick up later. He then searched for another marsh prey.

Hawkbite moved swiftly away, seeming to fade into the shadows as he went to hunt his own things. Within a few minutes, he had taken down a frog and buried to search for something else.
[I'm just going to timeskip the hunting thing]
When Hawkbite returned to the place they parted ways, he stood proudly with a frog and mouse hanging from his jaws. Pretty successful hunt if he did say so himself. Now, he awaited the younger warrior to return with what he could've caught.

Cougarbite too soon returned with his catches, a lizard, a frog, and a vole. He nodded at the older warrior's mouse and frog, and then gestured with his head to head back to camp.
