Milkpaw had never heard the name of Lionstorm before, but what truly shocked him were Deertrot's next words. His mouth almost fell open as he tried to imagine how cats could put poison on their claws, and then how Thunderclan must have healed from those injuries. "Did they really do it? And who own Firefly Cove now?" Had Starclan really approved such a vicious choice when the time had come? Milkpaw could not imagine himself in their place. They must have been very desperate to have come to such measures.

Deertrot replied “Thunderclan won the battle for the cove, and yes they did. Now, any questions before we move on?” She tipped her head, awaiting for the apprentices answer

Milkpaw was actually full of other questions, but he guessed that his mentor wasn't very eager to answer all of them. He nodded politely, signaling her that he was ready to move on.

“Alright, I'll just tell you them as we go! Next is Shadowclan, do you know anything about them?” Deertrot asked, starting to pad off towards the marsh belonging to the shadows.

Milkpaw starred worryingly at his paws, trying to recall everything he had learnt from overhearing other warriors' conversations in camp. "Uhm... They live in a forest with lots of pines, and... they often have twoleg problems." His voice almost trailed off to a whisper as he listed uncertainly the most known information about Shadowclan. Was he supposed to know more than this?

Deertrot nodded “Good, but Shadowclan live in a marshland. Their main prey are frogs, toads and the like. Main ability is stealth. And if I remember correctly, Dawnstar is their leader with Cinderblaze as their deputy and Elmshadow was their main medicine cat with his apprentice Ivysnake.Windclan don't have the best reputation with them because they tried to take Windclan territory.” The fawn molly listed the information off her tongue

So much information already to store in his mind. Dawnstar, Cinderblaze, Elmshadow.. Ivysnake. It was always difficult to remember every high rank in every clan, but Milkpaw knew he would have to do his best to impress his new mentor. The next piece of information, however, slightly shocked him. "They.. tried to take Windclan? When?" Wasn't that an action against the warrior code? He found it difficult to imagine such a huge invasion...

“Our Sky Glade was taken. In a war, we in the end took it back.” Deertrot responded, the fawn molly dropped her head and fell silent for a second before speaking again. “Any other questions?“

"Oh..." Milkpaw nodded slightly, even though he had no idea what part of their territory Sky glade was, or how it appeared. He had only been out of camp once, when their mother had taken him and his sisters to Juniper's Rest.
When Deertrot asked for other doubts, he shook his head and prepared himself to keep on walking. He found that he was enjoying the tour of territory: it was nice to to stop and observe new places, learn new routes, see things he had only ever heard of.
In a moment, he was ready to set off again.
